Someone people ignore flaws as long as you win while others point them out even in victory. Coaches are in both groups.
Ignoring flaws while winning can set you up for failure in the playoffs. If you turn the ball over a lot but the coach ignores it because you win, you won't think its that big of a deal. Because of that, you'd end up losing in the playoffs on a fumble.
Others are happy with the win, but they're preparing for the playoffs. If you continue to improve while winning, you have the chance to become all time great. The coaches that do this end up in the hall of fame and with multiple rings like Parcells and Bellichek.
