The media hype of Mahomes is overbearing, and somewhat deserving, but a closer look at 3 national primetime games, he went 0-3, after last nights loss, the Chiefs are in danger of losing the #1 seed, and the AFC West.

Pats loss (43-40)
Rams loss (54-51)
Chargers loss (29-28)

3 good teams that are all headed to the playoffs, yet he lost to all 3, most are buying the hype, I'm a bit skeptical, will see what happens next week in Seattle.

I agree their D is a liability, but those opponent defenses gave up also gave up 40,51,and 28 but won.

Yeah how is that the QB fault? He did have a ton of INTS in that one game. QBs get too much credit and blame these days. Mahomes looks better than any young QB (Goff, Wentz, Dak, Trubisky, Mayfield, etc).

Cousins is the QB who chokes in prime time and against good teams. Dude robbed the Vikings.

The Vikings robbed themselves. Who didn't see that coming? I never thought Cousins was that good.

I wouldn't blame Mahomes either. His defense can't keep teams out of the endzone. But how about Rivers in that game? He was under constant pressure all game and made some clutch throws.

Mahomes doesn’t deserve any of that blame. The guy has to make every play the way our last QB did. He’s extremely talented but I see Favre every time I watch him play. I’d love to have him. He could improv enough to make Garrett look like a genius.

It's not even unlikely at this point.

Mahomes (or any QB) did not go 0-3.
The team did.

The offense AVERAGED over 42 ppg in those three games....which is insanely good
In any normal world, they win 2 or 3 of those. The D is just that good, obviously.

They already have. In the last 20 years, they lost the wild card round 7 times, 1-10 record in their last 11 playoff games....
