Scandrick got beat on the game winning touchdown last night. Then he blew coverage on the 2 pt. conversion. They were running a combo man coverage on the 1-2 receivers and both defenders went with the inside route. Terrible mental mistake.

Chido has been solid. Anthony Brown has had a hell of a comeback year. Byron Jones is arguably the best CB in the NFL.

They get credit for moving Byron, moving on from Oscan and rolling with Brown, and hiring Richard.

I thought Scandrick was worth retaining as a backup, but he was too full of himself and felt that Dallas was mistreating him by no longer acting like he was a star.

I'm the cautious type, so I wasn't completely sold on how Byron would do at corner, if Brown would regain his form or whether the two second-year players wouldn't have a sophomore slump. The move has turned out well for us, though.

Last year or maybe it was 2 years ago, after one of the games. They have a Cowboys post game interview show on about 11:30 on the local CBS channel here.
Brad Sham and Babe laufenberg interview 3 to 4 players. Irving and Scandrick were on separate interviews.

David Irving. He came across Humble and sort of low key. Talked about how other players did things for him to make plays. They asked him about all his somewhat off the wall wardrobe. He said he never wears the same one twice, or rarely does. He will wear one, and then it gets donated to charity.

Scandrick comes out, and it was all about him. I this, I that, my talent this, my talent that. Came across as a jerk IMO. Self centered in a way.

Loser mentality if you look for the refs to help you. That would have been a ticky tack call. Players make plays, something this team lacked for years.

I think it was a good non call. It may have looked like a push off to many, but I think it was normal hand battling then as Williams pulled off to go for the ball, his arms looked as if they extended to push off. But it was just the normal process of him moving him arms to catch the ball.

Coaching matters. Why people don't seem to understand that has me stumped. This is the reason why I want a total overhaul on our offensive coaching staff except for Columbo.

We need to cut the head of the snake to kill it once and for all.

I'm not saying he was or is a great CB, which was clear on the 2 pt. conversion, but he got cheated on that play.
