Who were the other 6 quarterbacks to do it?![]()
Wouldn’t matter if it was Marino, Montana, Aikman, Manning, Elway and Staubach.
Daks the worst QB ever. Haven’t you heard?

Gotta love the pessimistic haters..."Why worry about toilet paper? I see two rolls over there, why do we need to talk about getting more?" Gotta love the homers...
With all those years of you hating on Romo, you'd know I was right down the middle of the road but you were too busy on Romo's case to notice...Gotta love the pessimistic haters...
Oh, please. I noticed you very well, just like I notice you now. Complete opposites. With all those years of you hating on Romo, you'd know I was right down the middle of the road but you were too busy on Romo's case to notice...
But this is what this team is designed to do. Just outscore the other opponent. Defense leads the way by holding the opponent to low score, offense methodically goes down the field to score and just stay ahead of the opponent. Many want to blame Dak, but it's what the offense is designed to do. Play it safe, don't make mistakes. If you do, the defense should bail you out and hold the opponent. If they don't, then the "O" opens up the throttle a little to catch up and stay withing reach until the "D" holds again. That's what happened int the eagles game. "O" scored enough to have a lead and the defense held. Dak made a few mistakes, "D" failed to hold, the "O" then opened up some and matched the eagles stride for stride. At this point, both D's were gassed and OT became our savior. Winning the toss sealed it for us. Losing the toss might have meant a loss. Can this work against the better teams in the playoffs? Defense still wins. The win over the Saints showed that it could. Bears took out the Rams as well. Two stingy defenses have taken out the two high scoring offenses. Wouldn't be surprised to see the Bears and Cowboys in the NFC Championship if the seeding plays out in that favor. It matters because they have to keep winning.
With the exception of the Saints game (an impressive defense-driven win) and the Jags game (a blowout against a bad team), Dallas has won a bunch of close games against middle-of-the-pack teams. Beating Philly in overtime and Atlanta on a last-second FG does not scream SB contender. They will have to play better than that to win in the playoffs, and improving in the red zone is a big part of that.
Dallas ranks 30th in red zone TD percentage.
Of the last 70 teams to rank in the Bottom 5 in red zone TD%, only one team has won multiple playoff games. (2015 Broncos, who won it all)
If they are winning who cares about redzone percentage. The name of the game is wins, not redzone percentage.
Because it's going to get tougher in the playoffs. Right now we aren't playing division leading teams every week, but the playoffs will be different, and inconsistency will bite you in the butt.
