We always suffer a game of this nature every single season. A game in which we play a non conference opponent late in the season. More often than not, we lose. It just is what it is. Our coaching staff is hanging on by a thread.

4th & 1 on the goal line and you run a dive left? How about an option or a RPO??? A dive limits so much. Why not allow your QB to go make a decision?

The rest of the game was more of the same. Our coaching staff wants so desperately to be the type that takes calculated risks and wins more often than not. But that's not in their DNA. You can't fool a real coaching staff.

We were woefully under prepared and you had better believe Jerry noticed. Garrett is on a mandate to win at least one playoff game. If he falls short, expect to finally see him jettisoned. Go ahead & print that too (just like you printed my Dez prediction).

You can only get so far on a smoke & mirrors strategy. Eventually it all catches up with you. That happened today.

I do have to take my hat off to Andrew Luck. Dude is a beast and has always been one. I liked him at Stanford and have always been a fan. Not quite to the @Risen Star Wince level but a fan nevertheless.

Luck 16/27 (192yds) zero tds. He was outstanding.

We are smoke and mirrors.

I just don't think we are in the same class with elite teams and there is one glaring reason why.

He was good against a very good defense. Let's call it what it was. Outstanding? No. Effective? Heck yes. We couldn't get to him all day.

RPO only works when the QB is a actual passing threat dude

this team squandered many opportunities today...execution was bad....its not Garrett or Linehan's fault (and I am not defending them) when a wide open FB drops a simple pitch and catch...lets not forget on the same play, the TE was wide open in the back of the end zone and the QB stared down his FB....Maher got a kicked block....that shouldn't happen, the defendier was way into the back field...where is the blocking and it had nothing to do with injured linemen.....those two plays, would have put us at 10-10 at worst by half time. totally changed the complexion of the game...there were plays that were converted and made, yet stupid unnecessary holding calls negated the plays. we get an Int in the endzone, btut heath unnecessarily held the TE on that play.... the team was in position to compete and be close and have another one of those tight 4th quarters..yet they tried so hard to give this game away with stupid penalties, plays left on the field. where was cooper all game? he had 3 catches for 21 yards until middle of 4th quarter?

Not for Dak
Like I just said in the other thread... Watch the exchange here at 2:26. Be sure to watch it a few times because apparently your vision is clouded by your Dak vendetta. Let me know what you find.
