I'm pretty sure if we used steroids or HGH, then we would be able to overcome issues like that...

Shawn’s an idiot. Grown men aren’t looking to qbs as leaders they really only care about their own personal game and monetary contracts.

If a frail guy like Jared Goff got in Aaron Donald’s face he would turn it into soup.

Dez was the last true leader of the cowboys team.

You have a very shallow perspective on the sport of pro football, then

Romo wasn't a vocal a leader and neither was Witten or Tyron Smith. Its been a problem for a long time. The last real leader everyone respected was Darren Woodson.
I disagree with Witten. Witten was the only guy who got in your face. He's the only one who told Dez to "shut it"

Interesting. But that still doesn't make him a leader. I mean, if he was a leader, wouldn't Tony have inherited that?
Tony was a nice guy but not alpha enough. See how he passively aggressively went behind T.O’s back instead of confronting him like a man.

If tony stepped up and let T.O have it instead of tattle telling cowboys have at least a championship game

Last week I posted that Garrett's only redeeming quality was that his players don't quit on him.

That post did not age well. I was wrong.

Garrett has no redeeming qualities as a head coach.

But, I think these guys need a daddy. A coach who tells you like it is.

Thats just one example. Witten lead by example. Just ask him. He says as much. He never felt comfortable in the role.

I thought this was pretty solid.

"The leadership of this team getting exposed.......... when down, you don't see any players on the sidelines getting into each others faces, nobody saying anything. And Normally, that would come from a QB position, but Dak doesn't play well enough to be that type of leader....."

"Hi, Shawn. Did the Colts have a lack of leadership when they got blanked by the Jags a couple weeks ago? Asking for a friend."
