SBN: Cowboys should fire offensive coordinator Scott Linehan while it still matters

Danny White, while doing the Cowboys game via radio broadcast threw out a few nuggets...

Stated Dak really stuggles when faced with zone defenses, threw out its like he fears when defenders are facing him, goes checkdown almost automatically
----should Garrett/Linehan be doing things that force a D into Man D more: Gotta think there are off. formations and sets that we see D's checkdown into man automatically.
----anyone with all-22. Was A.Coopers long TD between the hashes against man, believe so, long ones against Eagles for sure he was manned up, same with Gallup misses

Not sure Linehan ends up being the problem, might be the short term scape-goat

Linehan had some great years in Detroit, was very innovative in college--he was of the type we now covet in young college coaches...…..did he just loose it? Or does he realize the limitations of his "triggerman"

Now Turner not so much as Zampese as Turner became a HC in Washington and San Diego.

But he had his problems keeping those jobs.

So Linehan has just outlasted his freshness date if you ask me.

I don't think he has lost anything I think he's maybe slow to making change or adjustments.
D ak should be utilized a bit different maybe? They did well with the RPO, seems we move away from it. If we can see Dak's issues I'm sure he see's them.
Utilize his legs more in short yardage situations maybe?
I dont kno but they are lutting the ball in his hands to much, especially in the redzone.

He is predictable and then unnecessarily creative to a fault. Keeps trying to make Dak a pocket passer. We succeed at something, and then it's back to Cross Walk Safety duty (cautious and conservative.) It looked like training camp out there with attempts at getting everyone involved. To some degree, it also gets down to talent. But, this is the hand we are dealt so create a game plan to their strengths.

---Dak has severe limitations he is trying to hide, disguise, and work around
--Garretts scheme has his base playbook that A.Cooper has shined the light on

I think a lot of times Its Dak that refuses to run...….He doubles down after he misses a chance at a early route, realizes he missed a anticipation route, then he starts looking at the pass rush...…….scienaro

Jerry has zero issue with lost seasons. Zero issues with lost careers. Zero issues with dicking us around.

I agree he was outplayed. Maybe it's me but if I knew that you were aware of how to defend me I would probably change it up a little bit

Good analogy on the freshness/expiration date. Linehan’s Playcalling has become like old milk or hard bread. Yuck.

I agree. Linehan’s offense is well know throughout the league. It requires perfect execution to work. He occasionally can out smart them like that 3rd and goal play to Olawale but more often than not he doesn’t. Like the following 4th and goal Zeke run for a loss.
