Because Romo was talented from the get go, meaning this idea that his ‘development’ is similar to Dak and the latter needs more time is bogus.

If anything, Parcells stifled the development of Romo, because he wanted to play his veterans and win with them. He didn’t want to bench Bledsoe, but he was so awful he had to and Romo ended up saving the season. Anybody that was actually paying attention knew Romo was that dude.

With Dak’s he’s not talented as a passer, isn’t accurate nor does he practice well. The only thing they are going by supposedly is he has ‘it’ or some ‘intangibles’. They want people to buy the decision they can supposedly get to the promised land based on intangibles and that’s a joke.. They just saying this now because they don’t want to look stupid and are digging their heels further in this mess. They can’t sell his poor QB play.

But why do you think that is? I mean I am perfectly fine with them moving on from Dak, IF, and I definitely mean IF they actually invest in the position with a real prospect.

I don’t want any dumpster diving.

And I don’t want them signing diamond in the rough guys like they did post Aikman, until they GOT VERY LUCKY to find Romo.

If they move on from Dak they need to use a first, or second round pick and get a QB with legit talent.

He doesn't do anything really well.

That’s just not true. Like I said, stroll through those threads. The evidence is provided in just about every one. His performance against the blitz, for example. His ability to make plays with his legs. His misdirection game and his ball handling. His performance on game winning drives. It’s all there.

You tell what he does really well. He isn't good against the blitz as evidence by his unnecessary sacks. He's ok at making plays with his legs but he's also had plenty of negative plays trying to run it.

That was actually confusing. They all agree Tony was the better QB, but Dak has that "it" factor? They believe in him? Is Dak a Jedi or something?
If he wins couple of playoff games , we can even accept the Jedi theory , LOL.

Let him 1st win the buccs game tomorrow

Watch this one.

Darren Woodson going off on how much a scrub Dak really is and asking how on earth they can justify this guy in respect to Romo. Darren Woodson says the day Romo came, he was the best QB period on the roster.

You can tell that the management has no basis for why and spewing forth nonsense, such as “intangibles” and “leadership” to try and justify their decision to continue playing Dak. They have ‘faith’ and Dak has ‘it’. What a joke.. This management makes up these excuses when they used to pray for the day Romo would return from injury to bail them out once again.

Who on this offense has actually played with Romo for this claim to be taken seriously? Gallup, Cooper, Hurns, Elliott, Jarwin for them to talk about ‘trust’...

"The BS Dump"
That sums it up nicely.

I’m not here to convince you, I don’t really care if you don’t want to see it. My comment was just that it’s this sort of irrational interpretation of his play that has me almost wanting the team to give him a huge extension.

The fans who can’t even give Dak his due for the things he does really well are so annoying it makes me almost want the team to give Dak a big extension this offseason. Almost.

Didn’t we just say that his intangibles are through the roof? Runs well, players like him, great commercials, community outreach and public announcements specials to teach that bullying is bad, environmentalist, socially conscious, member of PETA, but not Mensa. Eats chunky soup, like McNabb, Did his due diligence in criticizing Romo about interceptions but has thrown way too many himself for being a dink and Dunker. Convinced many forum members that he has Swag, is known for keeping it on the real, throws the best 4 yard pass of any Qb of any quarterback in the league. And his yogurt and Directtv commercials are off the chain. My God, how does this passing machine find the time to enrich himself with all these self serving endeavors?

Yes, my friend, let’s start a go fund me for this extension you speak of

There's nothing irrational about it. I've watched all of the games. He doesn't do anything consistently well enough to say that he does anything really well. Everything he does is hit or miss. Just when it looks like he's turning it around they get shutout.

Our staff is more stupid than I thought. And that's saying something. Dak has a classic dominant male personality, and our staff swoons over it. We're going to sign him to a franchise QB contract because feelz.

Clown Team.

The almost INT at around 12:40 with the late pass to Beasley was just awful. It also exemplified why we can’t score in the red-zone with “Mr. Clutch” and the guy with ‘intangibles’.

Beasley is wasted here. He gets open through quickness, but that requires a QB who will get the ball out quickly to match. I was sickened to watch him do the Linehan Special - run down field, turn around, wait for the ball.

He is so gone next year.

Dak is the master of fooling people with sounds good talk. Even people on here be on that he's a leader bs talk. Ain't no "leader" of mine a cat that's isn't as good at whatever thing we are doing. Where they do that at? People better trust but verify instead of being so quick to fall for words. That's how you end up in the Ponzi scheme just listening to sounds good talk.

Some people are impressionable. If the speaker is confident, they will be confident in him.

I can understand impressionable if you're young but otherwise I don't get it. Nobody is just going to smooth talk me with no consistent proven track record but Dak gets folks. I guess folks are more easily manipulated by sounds good talk than I realized esp by athletes and people they want to like. Can't blame Dak for others but his avg and sounds good smooth words don't fool me at all.
