Prescott and Zeke lead in fumbles at their positions

Zeke’s total yards rushing blinds people of his warts.

It’s OK if Zeke fumbles. It’s OK if he can’t find the end zone. It is OK if he steps out of bounds on a wide open would be TD reception.

It is OK because he will win the rushing title and Cowboys fans value stats over winning these days.

Maybe you have found you a new team
By the way his team is home for the playoffs and Zeke win the rushing title

Zeke won the rushing title having 60+ more touches than other RBs.

Again, not exactly impressive

Dak has 12 fumbles
Zeke has 6 fumbles (tied with Cohen)

Fumbles come back to bite you in the playoffs - remember 2014 Packers game?

No excuse, hold onto the dang ball! 18 fumbles between our “Good QB” and “MVP RB”

LOL.............Too funny. The Dak Trolls lose again.

It's sad how our run based offense still has Dak taking the most sacks, most fumbles, can't turn a run threat into a passing threat, can't make plays despite having the longest time to throw. Talk about holding the team back.

You could look at it another way, he had 60 plus more rushes, because he had the worse QB of the top 3 rushers, because as much as we cut down Eli he is still above Dak.

This doesn’t take away that both Gurley would have equaled or surpassed him with similar carries.

Barkley has a ridiculous year behind a pretty mediocre to bad offensive line.

Zeke isn’t taking it to the house like he did in 2016. Barkley does.

Funny thing is that I have seen all of the Cowboys games and really do not recall the fumbles.
I also do not recall to many of zekes fumbles but I sure do Prescott because they seem to happen every game. atleast he did not fumble in this last game.

Get your barf bags ready as Panic Dak is going to the playoffs..lol...this Sack and Fumble King along with his horrid arm will once again dink and dunk the whole game hoping our defense and Zeke bail him out......

P.S. Don't forget the Barf bags....Dak will put up another show to be remembered.....

You think Zeke and Dak don't know this? You think the coaches don't know this? You think that you and Matt are the only ones who know this?

I'm sure they all know it, but I don't see your point. This website is for Cowboys discussion, this thread is for discussing fumbles of two Cowboys, I attempted to add to the discussion. Apparently, I failed.

No, it’s not. And I have already brought up why a rushing title matters.

Someone leading in rushing while having the most carries in the league is not impressive. It’s even less impressive when he has 6 TDs on the ground

Barkley has 10 behind a makeshift O-Line similar to our “terrible” line.

So...what gives?
I cant believe you seriously have. a problem with Zeke out of all people

Make an argument defending fumbles outside of “Well not all are lost” - which is basically just a scramble drill when it is already on the ground and it a valid defense for the person fumbling.

No excuse for a “MVP” supposed candidate on this forum to fumble that much.
There is no argument against fumbles. No one will disagree with that. But when you try and make it a stab at the guy it becomes something else.

Blaming Zeke for not scoring TDs reminds me of people blaming Julio for not scoring TDs. I heard people say Julio was overrated because he had 0 TDs through 7 games. Fast forward to the back half of the year and he's got 7 in his last 8.

Basically, for any position, touchdowns are a high-variance stat. 4 TDs out of 300 rushes is a bad season. 12 TDs on 300 rushes is a great season. It's such a minuscule amount of a feature back's touches either way that it can float around quite a bit.

What matters more is usage and opportunity. As long as the player's offense is getting to the red zone, and he's getting carries or targets in said red zone, the scoring will come eventually. The ball will bounce the other way. The odds will get even. Zoning in on the TD stat for a player who's already proven to be an elite short yardage back is just myopic.

In nearly every post-season run, I can almost promise you the team that wins the Super Bowl gets there because the opposing team coughed up ball in he worst possible moment which changed the momentum.

The biggest problem is going to be if we face a team that is high when forcing turnovers - that will be our worst possible matchup.

Seahawks pretty much already beat us this way once this season and our fumbling problems haven’t been fixed.
Funny but I remembered that loss as the earl Thomas interception game as in x2
