We’ve all seen how NOT playing in the preseason worked out .....

I think they should play them like a third game of preseason is usually ..... thoughts

Crawford won’t play
I’d rest Zeke
Everyone else I’d play
I might bring in backups for Martin and smith in second half
Dak and the receivers I’d play every play and I’d pass 40 times
The passing game is what needs work
Cooper and Dak need to be reintroduced

some have said our focus should be on seattle.

they're stupid. so don't listen to those jerk offs

play to win the next game.

There is no correlation between what a team does week 17 in this situation and the wildcard round.

Teams have rested and won. Teams have rested and lost. Teams have played their starters and won. Teams have played their starters and lost.

If you're carrying a nagging injury and not just normal football banged up you should play.

If you're gutting through a nagging injury you should sit.

You should lean towards sitting vets on any borderline case.

I wouldn't give Zeke a single carry.

Thank you for coming to my Ted talk.

Rest Zeke and anyone with injuries, play everyone else. I’ve always the bye week was a curse, this isn’t much different.

I would rest all critical players. That includes:

Zeke
Amari
Dak
Martin
Tyron
Lawrence
LVE
Jaylon
Byron

You aren't going to fix what ails the offense in one week. Rest them and have them motivated to bring their A game in the playoffs.

If you get any of these guys hurt in a meaningless game you will rue the fact that you played them even one snap. We are past due for the injury bug.

Normally I would say play full strength as we don't want to lose momentum, but we really don't have any. We had it before we lost to the Colts but it's gone now!

Like someone previously said, try and air the ball for the 1st half then sit everyone for 2nd.

It shouldn't take rest to motivate a team in the playoffs. Also shouldn't take rest for a team to bring it's "A game" in the playoffs.

If Dallas is past due for the injury bug, what difference does it make if all the starters play? 1 more regular season game is a death sentence, but 4 postseason games with great health are guaranteed? Injuries happen.

All players without injury should play. How much they play is debatable, but they should all play.

We can probably count on JG resting his injury-laden players, playing the healthy ones and hoping they're good enough to beat the Giants. Anyhow, that's pretty much been his tendency in the past. If he stays true to his ways of the past, it's probably what we might expect this time around, unless he adjusts his philosophy to establish momentum for the playoffs. It'll be interesting to see what gives in that respect this time. I'm expecting him to follow his past tendencies and rest those he deems in need of it, hoping the healthy others can take up the slack. We'll see. There's no sure thing in any case, imho. Obviously, that luxury belongs to those teams that have already solidified a spot in the playoffs.

We have a lot to work on going into the playoffs. With that said if we have guys like Lee or Zack that need to sit to ensure they are available for the playoffs we should sit them. Everyone else should play.

Obviously rest injured or banged up players.
Play the regulars otherwise, even Zeke for the 1st half, or close to it. Some into the 3rd quarter.

Sit Tyron and maybe even Zach, but for sure pull them out early.
Get Zeke about 10 1st half carries or so.

No more than a half for Dak, Cooper, Zeke, Tyron, Zach, Byron, DLaw, Gregory, Malik Collins, Gallup, a few others.
Crawford sits out rest up that stinger or neck strain.

100% rest anyone that needs it.

Zeke, Smith, Martin, any other lineman, any other player starter that is banged up.

I think those like Martin with the MCL needs to sit. Players who would be listed as questionable for this game I would sit. The rest I would play and make determinations based on how the game is playing out.
