If your QB greatest asset is leading the league in rushing TD by a quarterback, then you don't have a real qb, you have a running back. And we already have the league leader at that
And Dak Prescott is tied with Ezekiel Elliott for the team lead in rushing TDs this season..

Zeke hasn't run the ball into the end zone since Thanksgiving.

This team is meant to run the ball and the running back isn't scoring rushing TDs.

Dak has the ability to run the ball, but is about as far from a 'running QB' as you will find in the NFL. He will actually stay in the pocket and hold the ball to a fault wanting to make a pass instead of taking off and using his legs when things bread down. 4 is far from a finished product as a passer and has so much to work on in that regard, but the offense not getting more production from his legs is actually an area where we could see tremendous improvement.

Lets sign him as our next RB since he can't throw it into the endzone very well.

This is where trolls like you just look silly.

When you RUN the ball in, you don't have to throw it as much in. LOL

We also run a "run first offense" Do you even know that that means?

If you were coach of the Cowboys would you feature Zeke or a 3rd year QB and our passing game?

Aikman averaged about 18-20 TD's per season. Did he have problems throwing it in the endzone?

Have you watched the QB play in the redzone?
Offense

Everyone gets a piece of this.

Dak Prescott has missed throws and taken sacks, the OL has missed blocks and not opened holes, receivers have dropped TDs and Ezekiel Elliott has missed blocks and not finished runs.

Far too many missed plays and negative plays in the red zone this season.

That’s because they call RZ pass plays that get guys open

Dak doesn’t see them, panics, and takes off

I’ll grant you he’s athletic enough to make plays with his feet. But as I said we already have the leagues leading rusher and we can resign him for a lot less than what people are talking about paying Dak

Where does he rank in wins since he took over for Romo?

This time last year Dak had one of his worst games in his career against Oakland.

But the Cowboys still logged a win. Using the logic that wins are the only way to judge a QB then apparently Dak was really good against the Raiders last year.

Why cant we just have some honestly with this team? This whole Dak is a winner narrative has got to go. Tell me the last QB that was successful just because he was a winner? Plays like crap for 3 quarters and then is amazing in the 4th. In today's league you need to pas to win. (Full stop)

I cant think of a bus driver type who had a great career and a SB winner.

Chad Pennington? Was very very accurate, when it wasnt a checkdown league.
Brad Johnson - He was a very good passer, even with the Skins and then Bucs.
Dilfer- If we are banking on Dak Dilfer'ing us to a SB, I got some land I want to sell you.

In the playoffs you have to be able to pass the ball, keep the defense honest, not fumble and take advantage of open receivers. Dont' hesitate.
I think Dak is better than Trubisky, but what does that mean.

If I was the Cowboys, I would run Dak 8 times a game. Bootleg, 3 step drops, Bubble screen, Roll out. Throw the ball deep at least 3 to 4 times.
Go back to simplifying the offense like 2016.

Who said wins are the only way? YOu just made that up. Ironically, its the petty trolls that blame everything on Dak and only use CURRENT, passing only stats to make their claim.

Its obvious that you don't even understand what being a "winner" means or all that entails.

And FYI...…...Your very own Aikman was the bus driver that won 3 SB's. LOL This just gets better and better.

Flacco drove the bus and won. When Seattle won it, Wilson drove the bus.

That is the most non smart thing I have ever heard a fan of a team say. No more game winning drives Dak because it doesnt match up with the media driven narrative.

Wentz has a Super Bowl ring

And before you state the obvious, he is about as reponsible for that ring as Dak is for a lot of the victories that his sniffers are always crowing about
He’s more responsible for wins... while injured and in street clothes... Than a QB who’s starting and playing entire games?
:lmao2::lmao2::lmao2:

5-6 (0-2 vs Dak)

Sorry but your wrong. Aikman actually was a QB who played in a 90's ball control timing based offense. Go back and watch the first SB . Do you even remember that playoff game against the niners. Aikman to Harper to ice the game. How about the SB against the bills? Aikman threw 4 TD's and won MVP.
Aikman was super accurate and was not dinker and dunker. The league was just different, the team was different. The passing game has never been more important than it is now.
All the experts used to mock the Bills / Atlanta, etc for using the run & shoot offense? The K-Gun..You remember that?

Dak is who he is. Middle of the pack guy, who should not be be paid 25 million a year.

Calling him a "running QB", when some get on him for not taking off running when running lanes open up in front of him. If would prefer that he take off and run for positive yards, if they are available to him, instead of taking sacks. But, it seems like no matter what Dak doe a portion of Cowboys fans aren't going to be happy with it, even if it results in positive plays and helping to move the ball down the field.
