I have been saying exactly this ..over and over again about time on task.

These great qbs weren't great in their 3rd seasons.
Huh? Manning led the league in td passes in his 3rd year, Tom Brady had won 2 superbowls by his 3rd year starting, Aikman won a superbowl his 4th year, Brees put up 27tds and only 7 ints in his 3rd year, Favre put up 33 tds and 14 ints in his 3rd year, Marino led the league in td passes in his 3rd year....it seems most elite qbs were proving to be elite passers by their 3rd year. Dak hasnt

Geez Stephen sounds like some homer from the Cowboys Zone. There goes some more of the hope for the post Jerry Cowboy's era ownership.
What hope? He's been here chinning and grinning from the beginning. Right there for the backups drafts of the mid 90s, and the debacle of the 2009 special teams draft. He's cosigned all the nonsensical stuff we have seen as fans of Dallas.

He isn't a "winner" unless he wins a Super Bowl. Don't overreact to a meaningless regular season win Stephen.

Winning a Super Bowl is a team endeavor, not an individual endeavor as you are saying. You should have already learned that if you were paying attention to the Romo years. Don't confuse a desire for Super Bowl trophies for relevance about Dak's future in Dallas, the decision-makers in Dallas are sold on Dak. Choke that fact down and get used to Dak being the starting QB of the Dallas Cowboys. He is a winner and will continue doing so. If the Cowboys have more SuperBowl wins in their future, it will be because of a team effort and less about any one guy. That's the way it has always been and will always be in the ultimate team sport.

Im not yet in the pay Dak huge camp, but Teams win Super Bowls.
An individual player can be an exceptional winner and yet not be on a team good enough to win a Super Bowl....and vice versa

Anyway, I feel sure Dak will be our QB next season
After that, we’ll see.

After the Eagles game he blew up a bunch of y'alls narratives but had some TOs so that became the new line. Now he went for nearly four hundred. 4 TDs. Come from behind win late. No Zeke. No OL. If ya'll had a brain you'd take the clue and shut up but then you wouldn't be you. Dude out there embarrassing the Zone trolls

+1 .....every coaches/owner out there knows no QB can guarantee them a Super Bowl. They can only hope they have one that gives them a legit shop at one.

For winning a meaningless end of the season game? What he did today was great, but lets not over react.

Dak’s earned it by leading the team to 32 wins and 2 Division Championships in his first 3 years. His 14 game-winning drives in the 4th quarter or OT are a big reason. Pay him now while you can still get a discount.

Sounds nice, the only problem is: if you pay dak big, it could ultimately lead us to losing more games than winning them, because of the Salary Cap and you can only pay so many players. Paying Dak the big contract, probably means that you will lose Zeek and can't get future pieces in here. So when you pay your quarterback, you better make sure he is worth it first, that he can make up for any pieces you may lose because you paid him.
