Dallas won a warm up game in risky but lottery winning fashion. They got the all out offensive shootout to showcase the QB, they got to build confidence in the Tight End. Beasley made the play to show his hunger and competitiveness never let up.
Dak got to shut up any haters beyond the truly stupid ones that shout at rain clouds. Yardage, TD passes, points, more clutch play and with near zero from any of the guys on O who supposedly carry him.

And quiet as it has been kept, Dallas got arguably it's best R1 match up.
SEA has beaten 2 teams with > 8 wins and 1 of those is this DAL team.
DAL which was about terrible early in the year and KC who has already punched their playoff ticket in the AFC
SEA is without Earl Thomas who was the best player on the field that day and they are playing on the road as opposed to one of the best homefield advantages in the league.
Dak has actually passed for 400 more yards this year than Russell Wilson.
In SEA they understand that Wilson is really good but his weapons are fairly awful.

DAL fans and team alike should enjoy this Saturday night home game.
This one looks like a showcase for the season. DAL should get ahead by double digits than hold on for the win.

It would only get far harder from here. At Rams or At Saints will be a very different thing.

I disagree. Seattle has our number. Beat us THIS year or did you forget? Its a bad matchup. R Wilson is NOT the type of guy you want to face in the playoffs. This will have to be a mistake free game in every way for us to beat them. Not our strong suit.

DAL is a better football team than SEA.
Arguably far better.

Since week 3 we have gained Amari Cooper and they have lost Earl Thomas.
Dak had 2 INT and Zeke fumbled.

Game is in DAL where DAL was 7-1 this year.

DAL rolls early, Russell brings em back to make it close. DAL wins.

I tend to agree with the OP. I major saying I am looking ahead but I am optimistic instead of nervous. Zeke is rested. Martin and Smith are rested. Dallas throwing the ball when needed. Dak doesn’t get flustered.

I am thinking something like 23-17 Dallas and that is with Seattle scoring late to close the gap

...all the above with also adding that I feel Dallas is the more improved of the two. Not saying a blow out by any means, Dallas wins something like 24-17 or 27-20. Dallas moving to 1st Div Round.

the talent is better, the coaching, not so much.

if the team wnats to win, ignore Garrett and Linehhan. Talent for talent they are better. Just our coaching looks at EE as if he isnt the best rb in teh game and decide not to use him when they need to.

I live in Seattle and can assure you that the local fans do not think the Seahawks offensive players are awful. Quite the contrary, the are extremely pleased with their running game, WRs, and TEs which give Wilson more weapons and support than previous years and allowed him to reach a career high in TD passes this season.

We should be worried about our lack of scoring. We are +15 in points scored/allowed.

That is a terrible stat.

Believe it or not, the 1998 Cowboys are a better team than the 2018 team.

I see it differently. The only thing we have going for us is that its in Dallas.

Cowboys rarely start strong. Only way we win is if we do get up early.

SEA always makes me nervous, but this is a game we should win if we take care of the football. At home on a short week with this particular opponent is a big deal for us. We defend the run well and generate pressure. If we contain Wilson, we should be able to put a lot of pressure on him. And with our OL starters back, we should be able to control the clock.

Praying for the Rams in game two if we progress.

Wow, that means you want the Eagles to beat the Bears.

Actually, I agree with you. I want to rule out any January games in Soldier Field, too. Give the Cowboys warm weather games throughout the playoffs.

Hey, if the Eagles fan take out the Bears and even the Saints at home, I’m all for it. As long as we handle our business, too. Eagles at Cowboys for the NFCCG is the best matchup we can hope for. I’d love that game.

I think the second worst team in the playoffs is like +67.

It's been a season of almost all nail-biters.

I disagree. Yes Seattle beat us this year, in Seattle with Earl Thomas and his 2 picks. Zeke had his worst game especially mentally and Dallas didn't have Cooper. It was also early in the year when Dak had a new receiving group with hardly any work in preseason and still trying to get chemistry and timing down.

Dallas improved with adding Cooper
Seattle got worst with losing Thomas and having to come to Dallas to play.

you lost me at seatle has no weapons, Lockett and Baldwin are way above average WRs, there RB Carson is like 5th int he legue now I believe, cant remember but he came on late and they have better backup in Penny then our smith.. Id say this is about an even matchup as it can get and the people setting the line agree ie should be 3 pint home for even up only 2.5 shows Seatle is more then WC team..I guess you missed Baldwin and locket making those 2 rather easy bombs and late TDs to win earlier in the year..no weapons huh :lmao::omg::thumbup:
