It's a fair game to play. In fact, we beat the Saints, the Eagles beat the Rams, and we beat the Eagles TWICE.

We should get a bye directly into the SB.

Wait....Rookies aren't allowed to win the SB, so KC is out. I know he's not technically a rookie, but that doesn't matter. NE has enough trophies, so they're out. No one named Luck should ever win anything, so they're out. The Chargers? They can't beat us.

Lombardi Trophy, please.
That right there is some astute analysis, my friend!

Well, I'm not going to side with all the nay sayers. We, meaning quiet a few of us have been saying Zeke is going to go OFF on ground yards. Rams D gives up 5.1 yds a carry, so I thought last season game was his, but will reverse that and call it now. THIS game Zeke owns their defense.

Our defense vs their defense - favors us slighty
Goff vs Dak - wash
Gurley vs Zeke - wash
Cooper vs Woods - wash
Cooks vs Gallup - favors them
coaching - favors them

That's fine, takes a team to prove they are respectable, let's see where they rank us AFTER we go beat the snot out of the rams...cowboys by 7!

Absolutely nothing about the betting-line has anything to do with what happens on a football field come game-time.

If it did, Joe Namath wouldn’t be famous today.

As it was, Joe guaranteed a SB win when the “experts” had his Jets 18.5pt ‘dogs vs the Colts... and he pulled it off.

Go Cowboys!

I might say that it was because of the line that Namath became famous, but you're right, the players don't care. The line is merely a probability indicator.

Has that feat ever been done again ?

Don’t think so...but plenty of favored teams have either failed to cover the spread, or been beaten outright. For instance, Saints vs Boys this year.

The reason bookies offer points to underdogs is to bring the betting-line as close to 50/50 as possible and entice people to take the ‘dog + points. That way, should the favorite fail to cover, they’ve got enough action the other way so they don’t lose their butts.

If you really believe in your team, you can get great odds betting your ‘dog straight up (no points).

How about this, screw football, how about you just fork over the upcoming Mega Million along with the PowerBall winning numbers for good measure?

You obviously obtain one of the most credible crystal ball in all of America.
Sam..

It's called Pretzel Logic.

A lot of us watch the news and use it very well.

Like Kim Moon Jong is a lunatic.

Putin in Russia is a freaking liar.

Russia and N. Korea are allies.

Therefore..Putin is a lunatic, also.

Works for me.

Dak picked up 2 scores last week. He cannot continue at that pace at the Playoff Level. Dallas has Red Zone deficiencies when Dak doesn't score.

Will Amari have 2 Big games in a row also? And Zeke?

Will Dak Turn the Ball over throwing to these practice squad level tes who can't score Beans?

Do you think Linehan can be out playcall McVeigh?

There has to be new Scoring threats emerging to beat the law of scoring averages and they will have to emerge on the Road. Lol

The Cowboys haven't won a road playoff game in 26 years

I can give reasons why the line should be 14 pts and let's just hope that our everydown tes can actually contribute on paper through the air this week and be Grown a-men like the other skilled players on this team did.

If not it's gonna be an early exit.

That a boy.

Now you are humming.

I believe this fanbase deserves to see another trophy brought back to Dallas. It's been long overdue.

But I have to say, this is one of the most difficult roads yet.

I mean if these guys beat the rams, saints, and then cheifs to win the SB, I think they deserve to atleast be put ahead of one of the 90's teams!

I just look at it like this, every week is week one and the cowboys start the season off against a difficult opponant.

Its wk1, 0-0, and we've got the high flying rams on the road.

I dont even want to think much more down the line!

Just to make my mind clear, can't you simply place your bets online? Or do you have to be a resident in a place where gambling is legal?
The legal apps, websites, etc. use your location to determine whether or not you're eligible to place bets with them. I live in NYC and it doesn't work here...but if I take a 5 minute subway across the river to Jersey, it immediately starts working
