Cowboys Beware of Fake Punts

Rams have done this several times in recent years including this season. Cowboys special teams need to ready for these fakes

This season Hekker has attempted the fake punt 5 times, 4 passing and 1 rushing. Special teams can't get careless with this guy

They have tried it vs Eagles and Titans this season and failed on those occasions but this punter throws a good ball, return unit has to keep their heads in the game.

When it comes to punting I am all for playing every one as though it is going to be a fake.

As long as Beasley is returning punts there is a much higher chance of something negative happening than positive.

yes but Dallas has not ran a fake punt this season, last time was last year and only 1 time during that season. Rams as I mentioned have done it 5 times this year alone

I saw them pull the fake field goal as well when they played the Saints. Actually saw it again on replay last night.

I agree.

I also don't care for them putting much pressure on the punter. I think there is a much higher chance of getting a roughing the kicker penalty then there is of Beasley getting a big return.

Just hope special teams is ready, they can't sleep on this punter. You get an offense like the rams off the field you can't afford to give them a second chance.
