Brady
Brees
Luck
Rivers
Dak
Goff
Mahomes (don't trust a rookie in the playoffs)

...and then the curious case of Nick Foles. His playoff numbers are ridiculous
Playoff career:
Record: 4-1
Completion rate: 125/179 69.8%
Yards:1432
TD/INT: 10/3
Yards per game: 286
QB rating: 105.2
Two 4th quarter comebacks, two game winning drives

His worse playoff game was last week and they still won. He turns into Wolverine during the playoffs.
He's not a rookie.

32 TDs 12 ints, 105 rating
Top 4 highest rating for career all time
Yeah...he sucks

Honestly though...I asked fir rankings nd you gave yours
So thanks

Dont really want to turn this into a Dak...pro/con argument thread or itll get booted awayfrom the fan zone.

So Ill not talk about him either way.

Just asking people to rank the players

Right now, though.. in the playoffs. We'll see.

You realize Rivers has a terrible playoff record over his career?

By the way, where are your rankings?

Ranking how they are now and expectations in the playoffss... but you have a point.

Rank them
a QB does not win alone , its the team around them. I just wanted to point out the SB wins. Mahomes first time in playoffs is big too .

Part 3:
We already ranked the remaining RB groups
https://cowboyszone.com/threads/ranks-the-remaining-running-back-groups.426477/#post-8938482

and remaining Overall Defenses.
https://cowboyszone.com/threads/how...maining-overall-defenses.426478/#post-8938568

We could still maybe rank the remaining overall offenses or something else if anyone wants.

This one is for QB

How would you rank the remaining QBs?

Here are the choices in alphabetical order by team
  • Dallas: PRESCOTT
  • Indianapolis: LUCK
  • Kansas City: MAHOMES
  • LA Chargers: RIVERS
  • LA Rams: GOFF
  • New England: BRADY
  • New Orleans: BREES
  • Philadelphia: FOLES

Brees
Foles-Until Foles loses he HAS to be near the top!
Mahomes- WIll his positives outweigh Ints in playoffs?
Luck
Brady-just appears so old and fragile this year
Rivers- just don't trust him
Goff/Prescott - I will tell you after Saturday

:laugh:Well, I did rank Dallas RBs first and Dallas’ defense 1st
Cant be best at every aspect

Where would you rank them?

I’m going to make some conditions my list is based on:

1. Everyone has the exact same team. Perfectly average at every other position. So maybe people have a lot of faith in Brees because he has Michael Thomas or a lot of faith in Dak because Zeke puts 8 in the box. Those do not factor for me, this is simply based on the 1 guy.

2. This is on how I expect them to perform in January. Many QBs in NFL history (Manning) simply aren’t the same when facing top line teams in cold weather when it’s win or go home. Other QBs suddenly get even better than they were (the other Manning).

1. Brady
2. Foles
3. Rivers
4. Luck
5. Brees
6. Prescott
7. Mahomes
8. Goff

Brady and Foles speak for themselves, every play is just routine for them, even when it’s 4th and goal with 1:05 remaining and down by 5. While Brady is always like that, a dominant force with a high clutch gene, Nick is an above average QB with a Madden ‘100’ in testicular fortitude.

Brees on the other hand is probably the most bizarre qb in nfl history. Nobody has made going 7-9 look so good so many times. Hes also not a particularly clutch postseason QB. Think about last year with the epic comeback against Minnesota. The only reason that was even needed was because of how bad he played in the first half. He’s never been to the NFCCG since winning in 2009. Rodgers has made it 3 times since then, Brady literally every year, Brees puts up stats but doesn’t impact games the way he should be.

Brady is being way overrated in this thread. This is not the same Brady.

I disagree, Brady had a big year. I would argue this is the worst WR/RB group he’s ever had, worst defense he’s ever had, and he still got them a first round bye out of sheer determination. That is amazing

I agree...he was real solid.

But I really love his RB group if they play healthy. Lots of injuries this year though

Mahomes
Luck
Prescott
Rivers
Brady
Brees
Goff
Foles

The top three are interchangeable for me.
The next three were once as good as the top ones, but not anymore.
The last two are Eli territory.
And the only one of them who can literally do it all is Dak. He can make the throw. Please watch the TD throw to Gallup last week, and Cole the week before that. More proof of that is going 8-1 with Cooper being the difference, and who is it who throws to Cooper? Sure he needs to work on his long balls and looking off defenses. But then he is the only one of these who can get literally steam roll through guys to get into the end zone. That makes him peerless.
