I went back and looked at all NFCGG coaches since 1996. On average it took them 3 years to get to their first NFCCG from their hire date with their perspective team. Four did it in their first season. Nearly 50% did it within two seasons. Food for thought as Garrett enters his 9th season.

Garrett will be gone someday zordon.
Here’s the problem. The same guy that fires him will be selecting the replacement. You never know, he could bring in bill parcels or Barry switzer.
 
Coaches nowadays usually tell you who they are in five years. We’re hoping Garrett is the outlier.

overall im pleased with the talent jerry has assembled over the last few years. yes, DT and S seem to be a blind spot for this franchise, but overall this is a team on paper capable of making it to the Super Bowl. they are failing b/c of the coaching.
