There's plenty of concern at this time as to what to think or do about changing the Cowboys fortunes for the better. What's in store for the Dallas C'boys' franchise to resolve their apparent mediocrity situation is obviously up for grabs. I honestly don't place much confidence at this time in the idea that it's JG who will prove to be the HC to resolve their plight. He lacks the technical and up-to-date knowledge needed to be a factor in correcting this team's ongoing offensive deficiencies.
Like many of us, I've waited patiently, along with those of us who have hoped for things to change in something resembling a timely manner. That simply hasn't taken place, nor is it likely to do so anytime soon. Without a significant change in leadership, we're likely to remain a team that is steeped in the sorely less-than-ideal ways of the past. This is a league that now demands for teams to remain current in their offensive schemes. Ours isn't that.
Another OC with JG carefully guiding his play calling merely ensures more of the same. Barring a miraculous change of philosophy from our current HC, expect changes that are likely to be all too reminiscent of our recent past. Let's hope for more, shall we? Otherwise, we might do well to be ready for more of the same falling short of the needed preparedness for success. A change of HC leadership would be apparently be a blessing at this time.
