A high flying offense like ours? Not sure you’d like anyone from our staff. Chiefs maybe?

Please tell me this is sarcasm.

Believe me, it is

I'm one of Daks bigger critics. Linehans offense schemes open a bunch of receivers that regularly get missed, over, or under thrown

Linehan is merely the most recent in a series of personnel and coaching casualties to cover for a qb with serious vision and accuracy issues

Its the ONLY way. Probably the most important hire we have made in years. With Dak being young the window is now. Its has to be a high motion, play action, diversified, scheme like the these teams that are left. Gotta keep up with the Joneses and this is the ONLY way to do it.

What exactly is Jerry up to? Linehan should have been canned on Monday. All of the "high flying" offensive coordinators have already been signed by Thursday of this week.

What's it going to be then, eh?

As these "high flying offenses" take hold over the league, has it dawned on anyone that every single DC in the league will be pooling their collective intellect to stop them?

Just getting that element does not guarantee anything.

What exactly is a, "high flying offense," and how does it compare to what they've been doing?

There looking for a miracle offense that will make Dak look good....they just might be looking forever................:omg: as they forget the key ingredient...TALENT.....

scott turner isn't the answer btw. Panthers didn't light it up. I would look at the Chiefs or Saints for our next OC/QB COACH. Joe Lombardie would be the ideal QB coach for Dak...and would LOVE to nab Dan Campbell to pair with him. Its a no brainer,Campbell and Joe Lombardi.

This MUST be a good hire.

Jerry has admitted he wasted Romo's and Witten's careers. Pretty soon he will be adding Sean Lee and Tyron Smith.

Another useless hire and the careers of Dak, Zeke, Martin and Fredrick will go down the toilet bowl.

Jerry better get this right
agree. Which is why JJ and Stephen are going all out to hit a homerun on this. They are doing due diligence. I would seriously look at the chiefs offense...LOVE THAT SCHEME and the Saints. I THINK jj IS trying to land a big name for head coach.I have no proof..this is just my gut feel.Jerry is desperate to win now. I still think Bob Stoops,MikeMcCarthy are in play for the HC job...even tho many think Garrett is safe.

Don't interrupt the optimist train, fueled by sweeping generalities

Linehan is gone. He's the single reason Dak struggles

All is love and coconuts right now. Lol
Dak didn't struggle when eh actually got a receiver. He struggled when some genius decided Allen Hurns and Cole Beasley were a #1 and #2.

No, he's not. Turner was not doing anything that was revolutionary.

That said, you talked about Joe Lombardi. I have read that name bandied about a lot, rarely with any sort of evidence to back up why he would be an option other than, well, he was with the Saints with Payton. It is just like how if someone has shook McVay's hand, they should be a head coach immediately.

Can you specifically say what is so attractive about him? All I know is he failed out the Payton cocoon and came scurrying back.

Tell me it is not his family name.

Seems to me being the QB coach for Drew Brees would be one of the easiest jobs in the entire NFL.

I really hope you’re right. I need to temper my expectations lol

Nussmeier isn't the answer either. He runs garrets offense. We need much more change than that.

The truth is Dak isn’t good enough to throw to the worst receiving core in the league.

I noticed you left Gallup off that list

He's been getting open all year. And until the Rams game kept getting missed

A decent QB and Gallup probably finished with 200-300 more yards and probably 4-5 more TD this year

Payton calls the Saints plays, McVay calls the Rams plays and Reid calls the Chiefs plays. I could be the OC for all of these teams if they are calling the plays. IMO it would be a mistake to hire an OC from one of these teams.

Will it make that much difference if we don’t have one of these QB’s to carry out their offense?

Schemes can optimize talent but you must have the talent.

Well he and Gallup connected in the Rams game and the offense still sucked.
I didn’t list anyone. Even with Gallup this was the worst receiving core in the league. Don’t kid yourself. Everyone talks about what Dak can’t do and how much he needs help to have success....yet all of the great quarterbacks who you guys slob over don’t have bad receiving groups......so why does Dak need that?

Yeah but you are going to get Moore and Garrett. Rewind. Repeat. Rewind. Repeat.

I'm not saying AC isn't good. He is

I am saying there were a lot of guys getting open before Cooper showed up. And they were repeatedly being missed or over/under thrown

Gallup is the most glaring example
