Do people not understand that TV personalities, such as TO, are often told to say things like this?
What do you mean? They're not told what to say as if they're force fed words to say. But if they have those views, they are encouraged to share them.Do people not understand that TV personalities, such as TO, are often told to say things like this?
This kind of says it all.I’m really happy to see that Owens can still afford a nice suit. Good for him.
Our fans seem to love anyone and everyone who trashes a former or current Cowboys player, coach etc. It's very sad.
Another player speaking the truth about Romo. Great announcer, good qb, never a winner.
No question. You've been doing that as long as I've known you!Anyway, Romo was a winner and great QB. Anyone who says otherwise is wrong.
If TO can say dumb **** can’t I?
Owens has a good argument. But quarterbacks much worse than Romo have won super bowls. So what's the point? Romo can't catch the ball for Crayton. It's not Romo that fumbled the ball against GB in 2014. It is a team effort and always has been.
You know why one side of that V is always longer than the other side?.............More geese on that side!
Ya,& all the while, they are being granted the equivalent of a "Willy Wonka's golden round trip ticket of insightful footballish professordumbed degree, to any tom, dick or any other, self absorbed once was or never was,,,,squawkin'& honkin' off in their quacking's as they tool thru at that self granted insulated altitude ,like a V- wedge flight of crap spewin' Canadian geese
Yeppers!,,,and it'd be a hell of a lot more shorter if those 20mm airburst projo's weren't so frickin' astronomical priced outta' the obtainable range,Too!You know why one side of that V is always longer than the other side?.............More geese on that side!

Everything I have read seems to indicate it would be way less than this. The average pension paid out apparently is around 45K per year. While Owens played a lot longer than the average player, I can't see any conceivable way that a pension would be drawn up where he would get 20 times the average pension. The pension appears by all account to be simply based on service, and has nothing to do with the salary the player earned. If anything I would think a smartly drawn up pension would be like social security and help the players with shorter careers more than the ones with longer.https://www.investopedia.com/financial-edge/0710/top-pro-athlete-pension-plans.aspx
Players who retired in the '80s and '90s receive anywhere from $3,000-5,640 per month for every season played in the NFL. Newly retired players (since 1998) receive $5,640 monthly for every year of service. Players with 10 years of service receive an additional retirement bonus in the form of an annuity.
So I guess he could make a million a year starting 10 years from now.
