Much colder than here in CO where it is a balmy 25.

I don't about your area, but we have had 4 good snows in January bringing several feet of much needed moisture to the eastern Front Range.

Anyone familiar with New Foundland knows they get wild and crazy winter weather, well weather period. I worked with a fellow from New Foundland, he always said New Foundland has 2 seasons, winter and August 25th".

I lived with the Newfies for a couple years as a kid. Loved it. The fishing is outstanding. I plan on going back for a visit. But in August.
