The metric system is used more like a hybrid. I honestly do not know anyone who strictly uses the metric system, myself included.

I lived with the Newfies for a couple years as a kid. Loved it. The fishing is outstanding. I plan on going back for a visit. But in August.

They are about the nicest people I've ever met, just good-natured folk who love to drink.

Whelp, we are in the small single digits - temperature wise - this morning. The morning hike is hold (until spring, according to my wife ) while I sit by the fireplace with a cup of tea. Can't complain, though, brilliant sunrise and I don't have to shovel.

Boise has been unseasonably warm this winter. Have hardly had any snow and it has been hovering around 50 all week. Few more years of this and I can finally plant that palm tree I've been wanting so bad in my front yard!
