Looking for new tires for my 15 VW GTI

Deciding between:

Continental Ex Sport DWS06

Pirelli PZero A/S Plus

Michelin PS A/S 3+

Ride comfort is most important as it is used as my DD. Wet/dry grip and handling are important as well. Will not drive in snow.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Sorry I can't help, but I'll bump it up. Maybe someone will see it and have answers.

I have Pirelli on my Lexus and they are great. They handle really nice, comfort I’ve never really paid attention since it’s an F-Sport and I was going for performance.

Now my Chevy 2500 I’m all about the comfort for towing the boat and Toy hauler long distances and I’m running Hankook and they are the nicest riding tire I’ve ever had.

Not really sure if any of that helps or not, but good luck @RoyTheHammer

Tires are generally comparable. Some are clearly better than others, but generally their price reflects that.

When you get close on types. The price generally reflects it. The funny thing is, if you're not looking for real performance tires for something other than comfort. It's not really that big of a deal. You get what you pay for. Comfort's value is a small deal on higher end tires.

ie, pick one.

Comfort over performance? Like a touring tire? You won’t like the loss of handling on a GTI without sport tires, nor the look, but you can do it. The best part is you’re not driving in snow,so it shouldn’t be hard to find a good wet/dry tire. Each manufacture you’re going to gain or lose something when comparing, and brand names can be misleading for each specific car. And that’s what you want to stick to. Your specific car,and what you want. No one can tell you what to buy though.unless they own your car and made the switch themselves for reference. That you’re going to have to decide for yourself.

I had Chevy Cobalt that came with Hankook, they were rated for 80 000 KMS, I got 120 000 and the tire guy thought I could get another 5 000. 2nd time I've had a car with those tires, they are pretty good.

All 3 you listed are pretty good. All season tires are actually pretty good in terms of performance. Being your car is in the hot hatch segment, I'm sure you like a little performance out of it?

I've liked Michelin and Continental based off my real world experiences.

Looks like all 3 have AA ratings for traction and an A for temperature.

I like the look of the continental and how it theoretically should disperse standing water.

Conti's I've used seemed to wear somewhat quick but I'm fine with a short life if it means confidence in dry and wet conditions with a sports car.

Yup. Looking for a tire I can drive aggressively but still maintain a decent ride quality for my daily driving.

What ever you choose I found the cheapest way to buy tires is order them through walmart and then either have them put them on or pick em up and and take them to have them installed.

I had some Pirelli and the chip seal roads around these parts ate them up pretty quick
plus they were noisy.

I replaced them with Cooper RS3's and like them much better.

There are now a few versions of RS3's available but are generally considered a
dry weather tire.

Do not ever let Walmart put your tires on. Huge mistake.
