For tire savings, Discount tire direct ebaysite runs $100 discounts(over $400 spent) with free shipping for 2 weeks in March and October. Dates vary. If you can wait that long that is.

Tirebuyer also has some decent deals as well, depending on brand. They offer 5% off first purchase and I believe free shipping to an installer.

I don't miss buying 35" tires when I had my offroad trucks.

I've bought tires from Tirerack before and have had good experience with them. Though, this was several years ago. When I did they seemed to have competitive prices. Only issue (at the time) was install was not included, however, I know Boise now has dealers that will install for you if you buy from Tirerack. Something to think about if that's available in your area.

Honestly most of my research has been collected from that site. They are very thorough. Thanks man.

If you haven’t bought, they drop ship in 48 hours to a dealer in your zip. It’s painless.

Looking for new tires for my 15 VW GTI

Deciding between:

Continental Ex Sport DWS06

Pirelli PZero A/S Plus

Michelin PS A/S 3+

Ride comfort is most important as it is used as my DD. Wet/dry grip and handling are important as well. Will not drive in snow.

Any and all help is appreciated!

Michellin all day every day and twice on Sundays.

Michelin Defender LTX M/S. Nice tire that has so far been reliable on my truck in the winter. Ride is comfortable and they're quiet.

Got the same tire (except mine is the M/S2) on my 4Runner. I’ve had them probably 8 years now and 75,000+ miles; things still look like they got another 25,000 miles in them.

Made me a Michelin guy for life. Best tires I’ve ever owned.

Russian roullette. Guess you got one of the empty chambers!!!!

Walmart is known for poor mechanic work. Tires falling off in the street, for instance.

Don't coddle them. Sure they want to come inside when it's cold out but once you let them in, there's no going back to the garage. And they get too comfortable and set in their ways, move them to other side of the car so they get a better view. And every now and then take that pretend tire out of the trunk and show it to them, really helps with their self esteem. If they've been naughty, find some potholes.

Since I've been a Michelin man, and that's with a small m since the Keto Diet, for 30 years, I really don't know anything about the other ones you mentioned. Whenever I've bought a new ride, I always have the tires replaced with Michelin's before it leaves the dealership.

Have been using TireRack for 20+ years. DWS is an excellent All Season tire. If you are not where the temps drop below 40 often you could go to more of a performance tire such as Summer only.

Air pressure changes the ride considerably.

What do you think about them?
Seems you can't get the M/S 2's anymore but the wife has the M/S model and they're basically the same thing. I love them. They grip the road well and make my truck ride smooth. My truck always did ride nice but these tires made it a lot better.

Which model truck and tire size? I am going to be getting a set soon.
