If he drops to us in the second, do you take him and how would you use him?
I'd take a shot and start him off as a wildcatter QB.

i would. putting him and dak on the field on the same time would offer many options. can have him behind center, out wide and perhaps in a stacked formation, sharing backfield with zeke. have 2 qbs who can both run on different parts of the field would create many options.

1st and foremost, he is not coming to the NFL unless he gets that crazy money in the 1st rd. 2nd, his dad is Lavaar Ball 2.0.

He's not gonna like his role as a Wildcatter on the Cowboys, lol.

If we can somehow make him a receiver, he'd be a good athlete and dangerous running after the catch..... I guess.

But any notions of him being a starting QB on the Cowboys? Nah.

I think the logical thing to do would be to draft a Defensive Tackle. In this year's draft, a 2nd round Defensive Tackle is as good as a 1st round tackle.

I could see Miami taking a flyer on him.

Crazily enough at pick 13.

Much stronger arm than Dak. Much more accurate. Fast as lightning. Very smart player with terrific vision. Won three state titles in the toughest division in Texas, and went undefeated those years. Then won a Heismann Trophy.

But he's a shade taller than Peter Dinklage.

However, would he be worth a late 2nd-round pick if he went to the NFL? Absolutely.

The guy plays from the pocket and keeps his eyes downfield when he scrambles. He disproves so many theories.

Ranch, I think it would be a waste of a 2nd rd pick especially since we don't have a 1st only to see him sit on the bench.

And he won’t touch Dak’s pro career

Kingsbury has always loved this guy.
I don’t think he will make it to us in the 2nd.
Arizona might not take him #1 but they won’t pass on him twice.

That would depend on what has happened with Prescott's contract. If they've extended him, why take a shot on a guy that won't play and has an option elsewhere?

If at all possible, the Cowboys need a player that will play and contribute this season. A starter would be great but at least a guy that will get more plays than Charleton did. So far, he's a 1st round bust and will force the team to pay a high price for a DE.
