I would say that it's pretty obvious that my mind is made up for sure. I would also say that it's more then obvious that yours is too. Lawrence is not Mack and you can use the back issue or whatever else all day long but doesn't matter. He is not Mack. Also, the whole back thing is suspect IMO. Lawrence had issues outside of health at that time and they were performance related issues involving banned substances. I am not convinced that the whole back thing is not just a back story to hide some of that but it doesn't really matter. Lawrence is not worth that kind of money IMO and I have said that from day one.

It doesn't have to be after one year. It could be after 3 depending on the contract. It clearly involves some dead money pain as well.

90% of staggered guarantees are within a year.... usually the next March

same principle applies though to Year 3 guarantees.... they are still way underwater with the player and no way would they cut after paying 45m for years and a truckload of Dead Money

The staggers are just so the Owners don't have to fully fund the escrow accounts.... they are essentially fully guaranteed
