Yes but Witten sells jerseys and hope for fans. The very best thing you can do for Prescott is to give him a quality TE target. This year the draft is rich in them. It's the strongest TE group in years. You can get one even without a first round pick.
Instead we retread.
This is far more important than worrying about snap counts and how much Witten will play. They will not address the position this offseason because of this comeback.
Eifert's just warming up...
I agree. Let’s hope we use this draft pick on another weakness in our roster. The very best thing you can do for Prescott is to give him a quality TE target. This year the draft is rich in them. It's the strongest TE group in years. You can get one even without a first round pick.

It's not that easy. First of all the talent needs to be there and neither Jarwin, or Schultz were ever on Witten's level in his prime. Those guys are more possession/short route receivers Witten could stretch the field. Don't get me wrong I think Witten is done and has been done but I do think he'd be an excellent coach especially for receiving tight that can stretch the field. Something we should be looking at in the draft.Exactly. witten should be the TE coach. make Jarwin and Schultz into mini wittens.
Dak should be used to that, its right up his alleyGet ready for those 6 yard Y Option plays on 3rd and 10 boys!
Are you dumb? Implying that they'll both reach Witten status. This fanbase...Exactly. witten should be the TE coach. make Jarwin and Schultz into mini wittens.

A one year deal ranging between $3.5-$5M for one year is not a bargain basement deal. Why is it so hard for fans to understand this no more than a bargain bin/bottom feeding signing like we've done previous years. It just so happen to be a former HOF player who took a year off.
the bearer of good newsJust announced.
Says he still has the "fire in the belly". Why doubt the man? There is nothing wrong with a "wait and see" approach to this rather than casting doubt his way.Wow!!! I love Jason Witten, but do you think he has anything left in his tank?
For Real BABySuper Bowl.
Love itAbout half the snaps is correct. He'll split TE1 snaps with Eifert and they'll occasionally play them together, and Jarwin/Schultz will get some spot opportunites (5-10 snaps each per game). Rico is a goner.
