I thought that Hurns looked constipated when he ran. That has to be difficult to play with backed-up sluggish bowels.

However, with my man Witten back, Hurns will look like a speed demon.

He’s not a number one guy but we have the cap room and he’s a fine 4th or 5th option which is what he will be.

It’s not like him being here will keep us from signing anyone else. I guarantee we will be more than 4 million under the cap come week one.

I'm not sure they're done at the TE position at all. Don't rule out them still signing Eifert AND drafting one of the top 3-4 at 58. Two years ago they overhauled the secondary. Last year they overhauled the WR unit. This could very be the year they do the same to the TE unit. I've said this before, Witten was more an intangible signing. We STILL need a full-time quality starting TE. This is why I would rule out Eifert being still very much in the pic as a starter. IF/when he gets hurt, we're sill good shape with a rookie (58) and part-time Witten.

Actually, fans have been swearing up and down that the Cowboys wouldn't be stupid enough to bring him back a the ridiculous current contract terms.

Turns out those fans were wrong. The Cowboys are very much stupid enough.

If, after 20 catches for all of 2018, they think that bringing Hurns back at $6.5 million is in any way a good idea? Yeah, they're setting everyone up to fail.
