The raiders seem to be using the Jerry Jones GM model from the early 2000s. Stupid move IMO.

If you meant how was this NOT a good trade....Said this earlier in this thread ...
How so?
Man. I completely disagree. If you meant how was this NOT a good trade....Said this earlier in this thread ...
The Steelers got a 3rd and 5th round pick for a guy they drafted in the 6th round. A 31 year old receiver that was soaking up huge amounts of cap space and quitting on his team in the most important game of their season. The Steelers won this deal IMO.
If you meant how is it like the Cowboys in 2000....thinking an aging bIg bucks WR is a great move.
That’s totally cool with me brother. I’m wrong plenty. I’m just not a big believer in WRs being a cornerstone to a championship but you’re right, no big deal.Man. I completely disagree.
But no big deal
We can agree on thatThat’s totally cool with me brother. I’m wrong plenty. I’m just not a big believer in WRs being a cornerstone to a championship but you’re right, no big deal.

YOU are the one presuming Brown will play at the same level in a different system, with a different coach and most importantly, a different quarterback.
So by me arguing "not so fast", you're saying that I'm claiming that not only this trade, but EVERY trade is a failure.
You're with a not as smart as I thought you were or you're willing intentionally misrepresent someone else's position to try to win an argument. I find that very disappointing and sad.
I think you’re just miffed because you can’t handle the fact that anyone made out better than your Cowboys.
And they saved 15m in cashIf you meant how was this NOT a good trade....Said this earlier in this thread ...

My Cowboys? That's hilarious. Now you're just throwing crap against the wall and hoping that it sticks.
I haven't lived in Dallas since 2006 and don't recall ever attending a game in the 20 yrs I lived there. I've argued against Emmitt Smith being the best running back of all time and likened the loyalty of football fans in general and Cowboys fans in particular to "their team" as a form of tribalism.
Try again..... On second thought, don't.
But if you feel you have to have the last word, by all means, have at it. I'm just not interested in spending any more of my time or energy debating this with you.
