Antonio Brown traded to the Raiders

The Steelers got a 3rd and 5th round pick for a guy they drafted in the 6th round. A 31 year old receiver that was soaking up huge amounts of cap space and quitting on his team in the most important game of their season. The Steelers won this deal IMO.

If you meant how is it like the Cowboys in 2000....thinking an aging bIg bucks WR is a great move.

As much as I am in synch with your personal opinions over 90 percent of the time, I value Irvin's contributions to the 90s era dynasty as THE most important in their success story. Definitely not a huge fan of the whole NFL Network personna altho his Cowboys homer schtick can be entertaining at times, and surely not his infamous off field reputation.
Just the player, and everything he meant to those teams was, in my view, the most impactful.(Acquiring Haley gets honorable mention)
He is third in pecking order behind Landry and Staubach on my 4 member Cowboys Mt. Rushmore as well.
I was a tad too young to remember Lilly.

I haven't lived in Dallas since 2006 and don't recall ever attending a game in the 20 yrs I lived there. I've argued against Emmitt Smith being the best running back of all time and likened the loyalty of football fans in general and Cowboys fans in particular to "their team" as a form of tribalism.

Try again..... On second thought, don't.

But if you feel you have to have the last word, by all means, have at it. I'm just not interested in spending any more of my time or energy debating this with you.

And they saved 15m in cash

the one time they stepped out of character and re-did a players deal like they did for ABrown they get burnt

He quit on them last year after they gave him an extra 30m they didn't have to

The difference is the Cowboys of 2000 weren't stockpiling picks and Jerry was clueless in the draft room which was the reason for the Galloway trade in the first place. And Jerry gave up 2 firsts for a 29 year old. There's no resemblance at all. Antonio Brown has been the best WR in football. Will he fall off? possibly! but the Raiders are set up pretty nice atm even with the large contract.
