Favourite Books

Well, I see the thread about people's favourite classic films. So, what about favourite Books? For me, my absolute favourite is the Bible. My next favourite would be "The Chronicles of Narnia", and I'm referring to all of the books. That book has a lot of meaning to me, and it touched me deep inside. Not just with the symbolism, but the animals (horses, centaurs, foxes, and of course the Lions) are a big reason why I am what I am today. It's such a wonderful book. I also think it's quite underrated. My third favourite would be Harry Potter. So, yes, those are my 3 favourites. How about for you all?

I absolutely enjoy reading Narnia. I'd say my favourites of the series would be Lion, Witch, and the Wardrobe, Prince Caspian, and Last Battle.

I had a topic here awhile back and if you look at all the evidence,connections,new files coming out,and enhanced film.It starts to come together what happened. You find things do not add up to be the Official Story

Probably my favorite book is Legend of Huma by Richard Knack.

There are several Warcraft books that are very good. Some not so much.

Every single one of Sir Walter Isaacson's biographies I've read are fantastic too. He is just great at writing biographies.

You should try Patrick Rothfuss' Name of the Wind. I've only read the first book, but it was very good.

I'll admit to not spending any worthy amount of Time in my Bible in over 10 years now,although, I have read it cover to cover one time, I guess Ezekiel's book was pretty tough in the mental comprehension for me, with all the measurements being described in detail & trying to keep a running account of it all in my mind,,,& oh, yeah! ,somewhere in the bible,
there is some dude named Jeebus being briefly mentioned one time,as I recall.

I've got a couple of books on the kitchen table I wanna read, yet so far have just flat out refused to as of yet, Stephen King's
" wizard & glass"
& some first hand account by some woman jungle white water adventurer down in South America, I'd bought it, as while reading the overview/prefix(?) of it, it came across to me like it'd be a good read,with a humorous slant to it,,,I guess my hardcover Speer Reloading Manual is my #1 reading book,,,er,,,as I keep it on top of the toilet tank lid
( if you know what I mean)

Well, as a Catholic, I haven't read it quite as much as I'd like, but I do enjoy it. Just as a matter of principle, I have to put it at 1. Narnia is a very close 2nd for me though, and it is very near and dear to my heart.

You wasn't a true " get high Hop Head" in high school if you didn't walk around carrying his book along with the school required ones, at some certain time span of torture back in those days

Get The Elegant Universe by Brian Greene. That is a wonderful book too and you don't need to be a physicist to understand it. He is a great author too. I find him much better than Tyson.

There is an audio book version of it too.
