I am here because of you and you and you and you and you.........….not so much.
I don't get to see my friends everyday but I can simply log on here and interact with them. They make me feel, laugh and think and it would be hard to explain to anyone that does not have something like this. For some, that is Facebook but that's not for me. So, I came to the old DC.com, initially and found friends there as well as enemies, and migrated over even after doing recon on this site and didn't find it to my liking. However, my pards we're already on the boat and partying and I love a party so I grabbed a line and swung over.
I am retired and miss the interaction with other people, especially the laughter. So, I come here to get my fix of that.
I enjoy the football and Cowboys discussions and the light hearted fun and joking but when this place shines the best is when one of ours is hurting and needs a lift up. That's what a community does, they lift each other. And I can come here needing that lift and not ask for it and still get it. I probably spend more time here than the normal person would think necessary but I hate normal people, which is why I come here. The ratio of abnormal to normal fits my lifestyle just lovely.
