Its hard for Snoop to fathom someone not wanting to play in the NFL. But it happens. I haven't heard many pro NFL players criticize him. Surely haven't heard anyone suffering from permanent damage playing the sport criticizing him.

Snoop believes he is stupid for turning down millions over weed. Snoop likes weed but not that much. The only reason snoop gets to make millions and still smoke weed is because you dont get tested in the rap industry!

If snoop was in sports and he had to choose his career or smoking, he'd choose his career.

While I agree with Snoop in one respect, Snoop hasn't had to make Irving's choice because he's in a profession that doesn't penalize you for smoking weed. If the NFL had allowed Irving to smoke weed, he'd be playing too.
Imagine if we had Randy Gregory and David Irving playing under altered NFL rules favorable to smoking weed.

Sounds like Irving might need one of these from Garrett, Snoop, and teammates.

I don’t think the choice is so black and white. In order for Irving to give up weed he’d have to shift his entire life. He’d have to cut bait with his friends and make significant changes to get away from marijuana. He’s not going to sit around as the only sober dude in a room full of his friends. I imagine that is where Irving is caught.

I’d move away and stay to myself I need my bills paid more than I need friends

Snoop attempted to quit smoking at one point and couldn't do it. Besides that have you ever seen him smoke? He personifies using in excess.

Nobody is criticizing him for retiring, they are criticizing him for the REASON he retired.

You really think he just succumbed to peer pressure?
