Good addition if he can be had on a moderately cheap 1 year prove your fitness deal. I mentioned him in another thread last week and got shot down.

Im tired of visits, lock these guys up ie adding a WR and Safety today can surely calm the fires and focus on the draft..we did get that DL from Htown so now if we get these guys to fill holes we can draft Best available DL, S, WR, or even TE at 58...

This this and this. I cannot emphasis this point enough.

Filling two more needs, all while getting upgrades? I like it.

Focus on locking up Lawrence and drafting Dline and we’re ready to roll

Takeaways are of the utmost importance to this FO and staff!!! Brilliant potential pick up at Safety!

Turnovers will come because of him.

He’s a box, line safety. You get rid of Heath, it makes the defenses pass more. Woods can roam center field.

People forget how good of a FS Woods was and can be

This guy is a sure tackler in open field

I wouldn't mind this but I like Iloka better.

It's weird that we seemingly have zero interest in that guy. He fits Richard's prototypical size for the position and he played in a scheme in Cincy that was similar to what the Seahawks used.

Only 3 picks in college and none in the pros but his nickname is Porcupine and he's got dreads.

I'm torn on this.

He is an improvement over Heath IF the staff uses him correctly. Using them as interchangeable will not put him in a position to be successful.

What's funny here is people thinking this is Heath's replacement.

Wait until they put Geathers at SS and start Heath at FS. LOL.

I believe If they pick him up it forces your hand of putting Geathers in the box and Woods at FS. Both players excel at that so it would be silly to make them interchange

We have to keep in mind that it’s just a visit. Unless it’s a team friendly deal he will be leaving without a contract.

You’re exactly right. Agents to just getting the market hot for their clients.

He likely gets an offer from us, flies back to Indy and they lock him up

that's what I'm thinking. Maybe the Colts told him to see what other teams offer and they can decide to match or not.

Teams don't bring in players for a visit without knowing what their asking price is otherwise they'd waste a lot of time visiting with players they have no hope in signing. The same can be said of players and their agents. They aren't going to waste their time meeting with teams not even in their ballpark. Cobb and Geathers are there because the negotiations have progressed to that point.
