I would trade him for Josh Rosen and the 33rd overall pick. I would then trade Dak to another team for a 2nd round pick. The Cowboys would have plenty of ammo to move up for a pass rusher. Rosen can easily be better than Jared Goff in the right situation (good o-line, run game, and weapons). The Cowboys would also save a ton of money by not signing Dak and D Law to franchise crippling contracts.

lol. So we get a worse qb, and lose both Dak and Lawrence. Awesome GM skills.

Bill would but he’s smart. We won’t and we will have a DE making QB money with injury history. I just want him for another year.

Beware of this poster.

His posts are not serious. He just likes to start threads with controversial topics and then likes to laugh at everyone that takes the bait.

They could get a 1st round pick for Dak right now but I would keep him. I wouldn't pay him $30 million though. or even $25 million. On the other hand, I think if they can get a good deal for Tank, it may be best to trade him at this point. The only question is what could they get for him? If they can get a 1st round pick for him in the top 15, I would take that deal in a second. Then I'd make the deal for Quinn, and use my 1st round pick to draft a pass rushing DE. I don't want to do this but I don't want to pay Lawrence $22 million a year either. I just don't think the Cowboys will get a 1st round pick for Lawrence in the top 15.

Naw, bloke. I'd keep D Law.
And no way we get Rosen and the 32, and the 32nd pick.
As to Dak .... Yeah, I'd trade him.

Cant see we get a player and a first rounder for DLaw.

I would say a high 2nd rounder is more what you can expect from a trade.

Would i do this ? Yes. Just because he demands too much money.

Then trade for quinn and draft a new LDE. So you have invested maybe 2 draft picks and around 10 mils for 2 players compared to 20 mils for one and missing a RDE.

Honestly, I think that Taco is a better fit on the left than on the right. I mean, you could also say the same about almost all of our DEs. So if DLaw is traded, and a doubt that he will be; I don't think that we really NEED a new left DE. But we still need a right DE, which is why I hope that we swing the deal for Quinn.

You can't trade a free agent. All you trade Lawrence guys need to get that though your thick skulls and stop wasting bandwidth. He technically isn't on the team until he signs the tender. The NFL isn't the NBA there is no sign and trade deals in the NFL.

As much as DLaw has seemingly become the crux of our D, I would reluctantly rather let him leave than let him hold us to ransom. This is prime example of why it is so hard to build a championship winning team. If the build takes a fraction too long and contracts come up then the bigger pieces of the puzzle want paying. We are approaching a period of potentially big contracts coming up every summer for a few seasons, the precedent has to be set now.
