Me, me, me, me, me, I, I, I, I, I, me, me, me, me,me, I...

What a jerk post.

Dude made no noise about playing on the tag last year. Literally signed it immediately.

Came out and had a great year.

This is exactly how it is supposed to work. We gave him a prove it deal. He proved it.

Oh, but he's all "me" because he negotiated like any professional would

All he has talked about and retweeted is "congrats on getting that bag of $" nothing about working hard, championships, cowboy fans, or even the organization. Lets hope this guy plays at a high level and doesn't quit now that he has made some money.

No hate here, I want our best players, players the FO gambled on, coached up, and developed to squeeze every stinking penny outta the cap so we may not have cap cash to sign our other "best" players that are coming up for contracts. Screw team goals.

Now if DLaw gets 15-20 sacks/year, doesn't get hurt for the remainder of this contract, and becomes the defensive lineman with the most life force that demands every offensive concern for the next 5 years I'm good with this. While he's at it he needs to talk Jaylon Smith into a lesser contract .

No hate.

BTW, I felt the same way when we payed Dez like the fools we were and then took the screwing. I was right too.

BTW, the ideal organization in The League doesn't get held hostage by players and their agents like this FO did with Lawrence.

No hate. Let's see his game for the next 5 years (or at least 3).

No hate.

The reality is that “modern” fans are so involved with every facet of their favorite team’s business that they get “too” involved for their own good.

And please, teams don’t get held hostage, the team has the bulk of the leverage so players use what they have. Obviously it wasn’t Antonio Brown vicious on Tank’s behalf or a simple phone call wouldn’t have been the panacea that it obviously was.

Now, if you just object to the money because you believe he is going to pull a Dez and underperform for the bulk of the extension, I get it. I just disagree.

So him tweeting a bunch of cliches would make you feel better? He got an amazing contract that takes care of him and his family for a long time. Let him enjoy it. Spare me all the fake outrage about him not being humble enough for you.

I dont see why some fans have their panties in a bunch over this.

DLaw had a great season in 2017...……...team franchised him and told him to "do it again, you might be a one year wonder".

So DLaw went out in 2018 and had another great season...……..told the team to "pay me my money".

Team said ok, here is your $100 million...………….Tank now celebrating...………….so what exactly is the problem here???

This was about him and his contract.

His teammates love him. Can’t be an I I I, me me me guy and have his teams wanna run through walls for him. Kinda contradictory no?
We'll find out when when he's holding out next year trying to get more money. We know how the game is played.......$

Has a NE Patriot ever put a note out like that? Team and winning is secondary in Dallas.

NE will attract guys all about winning because they have been winning SBs for over a decade. If you want to win, you want to get on the Team Belichick/Brady. There's no other team like that.

I doubt NE signs Lawrence to that contract, though most teams probably would have.

Tweeting about the TEAM in a TEAM game your dam right is what I like to see. If you ever played the game you would know that. Spare the whole taking care of his family for a long time, the guy's family is not going to starve. He can enjoy it and still be a good supportive teammate.
