Is Jerry Jones turning over operations to Stephen Jones Officially?

[Charlton Heston voice] "Stephen will pry general managership control from my cold dead hands."

Booger will relinquish control when he is either incapacitated or toes up. What else would he do? Think he's going to get his media fix stepping aside?

I wouldn't read anything into it and don't know why a player already on the team is even having a press conference. Is he more interesting now that he's richer? Quinn? Cobb? Yeah, they'd be worthy of a pc but a player already on the team is ridiculous.

And those all antsy about him turning it over to his son, I wouldn't be so eager.

I find it somewhat weird that Jerry Jones is not at the Demarcus Lawrence press conference, he is usually all smiles at these type of things. Very interesting....

Jerry opened the press conference via phone and stated that he was in a mandatory NFL Owner's meeting in Minnesota (I think). Sounded like he wanted to be there but couldn't because of the meeting. Couldn't delay press conference due to Tank's surgery tomorrow morning. However, I will say that Stephen seems to be getting more and more power which is a good thing in my opinion.

Maybe Jerry likes to personally purchase his alcohol and was busy hitting all of the locations that sell his favorites to stock up for the rest of the year. It doesn't buy or drink itself.

Its been official for 6-7 years now. Just no one believes JJ when he says that he gave up power willingly.

He has an assistants assistant go grab his J. Walker...

If/when Jerry “officially” gives up final-say control of the team, he’ll no doubt make a public statement to that effect. An ego like his doesn’t simply fade into the background.

Until that time, it’s all speculation.
