Hello everybody
I’m from England, started following the cowboys a few years ago because the first NFL game I watched, we lost. I guess that won’t make a lot of sense to you guys but I’ve grown up with championship and league one football (soccer) all my life so it makes sense to me. For any of you that might follow football (soccer) I’m a Sheffield United supporter.

Cheers

@Furboy is going to Like you and he's not even British!
He just likes to pull off the job. Know what I mean?

Shoot, here's a Like from me, my new friend!
I can call you friend right?
Of course I can!

Pray, allow me to be your guide through the travesties and travails of this site and it's individuals.
I'm totally unbiased and better than a Hitchhiker's Guide!

P.S.: @Melonfeud is a dweeb!

*runs laughing...

Welcome Bladesman.
For those who don't get the reference, Sheffield is England's Steel City, makers of the finest Knives and Cutlery to be found, Sheffield Utd are known as the Blades and Their Club Badge is 2 crossed scimitaresque swords and a White Rose of Yorkshire, Their nickname is "The Blades" (much better than the other team Sheffield Wednesday's club emblem of an Owl that looks like a fat budgie).

Not sure how to like a post on here (no button) but your post needs one. Cheers for that

Oh blimey, if it isn't one of those Limey soccer hooligans signing up it's another explaining references better left to those that enjoy their teams scoring one point at a time, if that. Mostly they run around like children, running into each other and falling down and one of them, invariably, takes his shirt off at the end of the game, waves it around his head and prances around like he actually has muscles.

Welcome Bladesman, and thanks to Londy for explaining such interesting unknown facts to those that actually won the war. Londy is actually a cheeky fellow but he's quite entertaining, except for that post. He has a rather Americanized sense of humor, more like Benny Hill and less like Monty Python, and we suspect traitors in his family tree. And just what is a fat budgie?

BTW, there is a thread in the Off Topic section about knives, because they won't let us talk about guns, and you should share that fascinating story about why you picked that moniker because at first I thought you were a roller bladesman.

Cherrio, old chap, and let's kick some bum this fall. That's all the English I know because I lost the rest of the Rosetta Stone CD's.

Judging by that top paragraph you lot get too much MLS and premier league top 6 garbage on your TV networks. The real fans over here hate that as much as you don’t worry about that!

Pay no mind to ole CC, He's a secret francophile (evidenced by His starting not just a cheese thread, but a wine thread too).
He's jealous of My English accent and My easy access to Spotted Dick and Toad in the Hole, We migrated here a while ago (along with a raft full of other characters) when Jerry decided to nuke the official Team forum (probably got sick of paying to maintain a forum full of People who constantly bashed him).
He got sold a fake Rosetta Stone CD, that told Him the English call Autumn "fall".

Is that photo from Great Brittan and why would anyone wear a bright green band with 'Suspect' written on it?
It's Chelsea celebrating winning the Europa League in Baku Azerbaijan, after hammering the pathetic gooners 4-1 in the Final.
The armband says Respect, a small homage to the late great Aretha.

It's Y'alls fault for calling a game where the ball is rarely kicked (in some instances kicking it is actually illegal) "Football".
Don't Ya know how confusing that is for the rest of Us?
