Zeke is the bus driver. Dak is the passenger who occasionally jumps behind the wheel when Zeke falls asleep.

about a 100 of those yards came in the last two meaningless drives...... which means he had 160 yards and was 1-9 on 3rd down conversion when it mattered...which further indicates when Zeke doesn't have a good game and its on Dak to elevate the team...he fails....its been consistent result of all the game during his career.

with that said, expectations are that when some part of the team is not working, the rest of the team and players can elevate their game....in this case, it doesn't seem Dak can elevate his game or those around him. the 266 yards may look good on the final stat sheet, but when he goes 1-9 and 160 or so yards come in the first 3.5 quarters when it matters and game is not out of hand...then hmmm, is he really that good

No, because some of these Dak homers were Romo bashers. A big part of their support of Dak revolves around him having more team success than Romo.

Yep. And he will get market price. I am hoping they could strike a deal under 30 million. Market values aren’t going to go down. If they are convinced then lock him down and let’s roll with him. He will improve. We have a team around him. This years O-Line will be healthier and hopefully stay that way. We have a couple of good WR and a good RB. Made the playoffs last year and actually won a game.

I agree but that doesn’t mean we cant critique.

Ultimately Jerry rides the wave. If Dak falls out of favor with the public and or fans then he will feel the wrath much like other stars before him have.

Although Dak has one key intangible factor in his favor in Jerry appears determined to prove he didn’t make a mistake putting Romo to the curb. And no one looks to be safe while Jerry’s pursuing to prove.

That’s how I see it.
