Remember Dez exit did not end well with Stephen, Garrett or any of 2017 captains. Not to mention, this is clearly Daks team now, no room for Dez's alpha personality. Hell, David Irving probably has a better chance of returning than Dez. Even if we lost Coop AND Gallup for the season, I still don't they'd bring him back. Other words, that bridge is burned IMO .......lol

As much of a Dez fan I was when he was on the team, and still would like to see him do well, if he signs somewhere, as long as not against us.
I will have to say pass. The Wr group is pretty well set. They may draft a WR, which I hope they do not. The top 8 or 9 are set for TC to compete for 6 spots, unless they go 7 again.

Dez does not fit into this group, nor does a drafted WR.
Neither does Hurns.

Take his $5 mil and sign Dez.

I don't care if Dez is still 6 months away from being whole.

Hurns is a non-factor since his arrival.

Knee jerk signing.

Dez’ beef was with Linehan

His issue wasnt with Stephen until he kept Dez’ name in his mouth in multiple interviews.

Garrett didnt want him gone and im sure he still has a good relationship with Dak and Zeke

What's it going to be then, eh?

So we got Witten back, the next swell idea is to add Dez back.

What's next?

Romo?

Get a grip, people.

We have to assume Dez has had plenty of time to think about playing in Dallas again.

Given his difficulties...I suspect he is mentally different.

If other players have problems with Dez playing again in Dallas..

you would have to question their commitment to the team.

Garrett would have to decide this I suspect.

He is on his last year of his contract in Dallas.

I would bring in anybody who wants to play for Dallas and has the ability to help Garrett keep his job.

Otherwise..get out the job apps for Princeton. He maybe needing to fill them out in 6 months.

Apparently he is working out again.

Says Dallas is one of his places he would like to play or the Saints.

I will not ask becuz some of you will have heart attack.

Ahhh..sign him to a 1 year deal?

What is the risk?

Dak is a bad fit for Dez. He should go to a team with a QB who can place the ball for him.

more trouble than he's worth do you not remember the bashfest he let loose on Witten and Lee....the guy is a cancer and not worth the Cowboys or any other teams time!

Tell Dez that.

I think he has been and always wants to play in Dallas.

In retrospect..

I think we were all shocked they did not reduce his contract and keep him.

When they suddenly had to sign Hurns and Thompson to replace him..

it nearly ended our year.

We went 3-5 and had no passing attack until it forced a big trade to get Cooper.

Whoever made the decision on what they did deserves a kick in the butt.

And of course our #1 is in Oakland.

Steep price to pay.

Now I like Gallop but not sure he is a strong #2 WR yet.

#2 WRs are typically possession receivers.

This is Dez to a T.

I'm perplexed.

Not to mention disappointed in the whole scenario.

He always wass what you could say was a venter.

Witten and Lee may have not liked him but I never heard them say they were unhappy with Dez.

Here is what Witten had to say about Dez after he went to Monday Night Football.

I do not detect any problems b/w them.

That seems overblown.

Here is what Stephen Jones- had to say about Dez after cutting him.

Does not sound like there are alot of problems there.
