Article: Why the Cowboys and Rams should trade for Josh Rosen

Why we should let the guy we drafted last year, Mike White develop behind Dak.

We lost vs the Rams because of our run d & Zeke going awol. QB isn't the problem.

Correction. We lost to the rams last year because of the run D and our offensive line getting destroyed by Donald and Suh.

After the Cooper trade, it looked like the Cowboys would have to wait until 2020 to even think about acquiring a potential franchise QB.

The Rosen/Cardinals situation has changed that. Lock is also still on the draft board. If only our front office were clever enough to recognise that there are options out there right now.

A 22 year old QB with all the skills and potential signed on a rookie deal minus the signing bonus. You'd be nuts not to be interested.

As I mentioned on another thread, as bad as Rosen looked in the Arizona dumpster on fire, he out performed the two experienced NFL starters on the Cardinals roster.

dak was 1-9 on third down conversions....the Rams dared us to pass by focusing on Zeke. they took Zeke out of the game. Dak fizzled....couldn't do anything.....

the rams took zeke out of the game and dared dak to beat them he couldn't and a overweight washed up running back ran for 275 yards on there defense

not gonna happen cause they don't want to hurt Dak's feelings.

Zeke refused to run to the outside, he took himself out of the game. Dak showed up that 2nd half, Zeke didn't.

Lol....two teams that absolutely DON'T need to trade for Rosen.
really, you're comfortable at what Dallas has at backup in Rush and White........I'm not sold on either from what I've seen and I'm all for creating competition, no matter the position and at time's I'm not sold with Dak's performance,

Gurleys banged up knee and Anderson looking as if he just swallowed a whole wedding cake before the game is the reason I didnt even expect the rams running game to do anything.

Dak was a disappointment

Who wrote this article? I won’t even click on it

Goff just took the rams to the Super Bowl why on earth would the rams trade for Rosen?

And the cowboys have a QB that won the division 2 times out of 3 years and hasn’t finished with a losing record

Man I long for the days where you had to have talent to succeed in any profession

but, yet you did...hmmmmmmmmm lol

I'd trade a fifth rounder for him....
Dang it, busted by my own sarcasm. However, I would give up a 5th as well. I like what the Patriots did with Jimmy Garoppolo, but in this scenario we wouldn't get the same return. The bigger question is, who has better upside? Dak or Rosen?

If the Rams aren't sold on Goff and want a cheaper QB, then it makes sense for them. Could allow them to continue to pay other positions highly and get by with a "cheap" QB.

Now of course it hinges on Rosen actually being good enough/buying into McVay's offense

Obviously most of you don’t get the point. It’s not because Dak or Goff are the problem or thatRosen is better. It’s because both Dak and Goff will be paid like elite QBs while they’re mediocre. You might be able to get similar mediocrity from Rosen for a lot less money.
