DT was the reason they lost to the Rams in the playoffs. If Trysten Hill can fix that problem, the Cowboys will have fixed their biggest weakness in the playoffs.
There wasn't a single reason for the loss to the Rams, but I think I would have taken the kid from Bama before a kid from UCF.

I like taking a DT, I just hope he doesn't turn out to be a problem child, he had his issues at UCF. Maybe that's what JJ liked about him.

Funny listening to these guys tonight, after seeming so disappointed during their 7-round podcast that they had to take Hill at 58....

But I have to say, I feel a whole lot better about Hill knowing that the FO did have some incredibly good options at S, and they still chose Hill.

He had better be worth it. People hated the LVE pick too, so lets give it some time to play out.

People hated the Charlton pick and are looking dead on here.

This guy has a similar resume to Charlton - questionable work ethic, lazy, takes plays off, could be a pain in the *** with coaches.

Everything I’ve read is that his talent is off the charts.
Also, he doesn’t need motivation....he plays hard and has a great motor.
He had some character issues, immaturity, but no problems on the field.

He may have something to prove after issues with the new staff in college.

Let’s see if the scouts and guys paid to evaluate are correct before blasting the draft pick.

What makes you feel better about passing over some highly rated safety prospects to draft a player with attitude problems that only started one game last season?

I really like Hill, just believe we could have got him a round later. I’m annoyed right now but if we still somehow get Thornhill or Rapp I won’t poopoo the pick.

i guess when the rams almost put 300 yards rushing on us it left a bad taste in Rob mouth lol. Well we got a big body. i hope he turns into something special. Don't like the red flags on him though.
