I mean I get it, and if they really see something good in him then I can’t complain. They hit on LVE even though Derwin also played well :/ but like I said gimme Hooker or Deionte and I’ll shutup about the safety position.

I hope it's a short road. I'd like to see him be given the chance to compete with Collins now and possibly improve the right tackle play.

As far as i know know williams has not practiced once at Tackle, they need to get him a lot of snaps in TC to see if he can hold up.

No, take one more season and get the comp pick when he signs elsewhere. You're only getting a 4th or less in this draft anyway. You may get a comp 3rd next year.

True. If Trent Brown got $70 million, La’el can get somewhere around there.

Collins is an expensive weak link on the line. I wouldn’t mind seeing him traded.
La'el Collins had shoulder surgery in January, that would seriously ding his trade value and this is the absolute worst time of year to move him.

The best plan I see for this season is the same starters we planned on having last season.

Let Collins play for his next contract and hope to net a third round supplemental draft pick for him in 2021.

And if McGovern is forced to play as a rookie, he could still give you average play at probably four spots on the OL.

I would doubt that happens unless it's a future high pick. He's going to get them a 3rd round comp in two years no problem.

I'd say 4th or 5th, me, if we're judging off of his most recent season. And so, I'd say the FO will be more than happy to take a 4th now instead of waiting to find out how it would work out with a new team.

Same goes for the safety I've been on about for months now. Plus, he measures at the height Richard likes.
