I am lazy, so basically what I can see we traded out of our second fourth round pick, engaged two different teams and got just a six and a seven at the end of it all?

Anyone willing to explain how this is a winning strategy?

I promise, I will listen to you.
People keep saying fourth like it makes it worse.

But it was pick 136.

Pick 139 was a fifth rounder.
We traded pick 136 for a fifth, a sixth and a seventh.

No. Basically, we dropped 22 spots (136 to 158) at a point in the draft at which all picks are really lottery tickets and and acquired two extra lottery tickets in exchange.

I can’t comprehend why people can’t see this.

We didn’t trade a fourth for a sixth and seventh.

It’s exactly as you stated

People are annoyed that their pet cats weren’t drafted and need to vent somehow. So they’ve invented a reason.

Draft crew on DC.com was saying Raymond at TE would be a good pick, and move on from Rico. Said he is an ok blocker, but always is open as a receiver.

Not sure I understand where people are getting we got a sixth and a seventh. We essentially traded our fourth for a fifth and two sixths. We originally got a early fifth and later sixth for our late fourth. Then we got a slightly later fifth and an slightly earlier sixth for that fifth.

So if we're keeping score, we gave up the 136 for 158, 213 and 218
