Just wanted Thornton or Adderley even if better fits at FS. This is a passing league and Heath isn't a good enough run defender to warrant not adding a coverage safety they could interchange assignments as they claim to covet. The days of Roy/Lynch are gone and also have good coverage LBs in Smith and LVE. All the DL following only made it seem like more of a missed opportunity to solidify the secondary. We got run over by the Rams bc our DL continued stunting themselves right out of the running lanes w/no adjustments made as was the case with the Lions.

This draft was terrible, passed metcalf, thorn and some bona-fide future stars for a bunch of second teams scrubs..

this was not a good draft

We all know. Some just don’t want to admit it. Not having a 1st changed their philosophy and it didn’t work. They just don’t seem capable of making the obvious common sense decisions. They continually pass on easy choices that fall into their laps and overthink things.

It's not who you pass on, it's who you take.

We had little ammo this year.

Took a physical freak at DT in Hill.
Got an olineman who dropped in McGregor.
Pollard is said to have had food poisoning for the combine, and was significantly faster at his Pro Day, in the 4.3s.
Michael Jackson ain't no thriller, but he's nothing to get upset about. Fit's the profile for Richard.
Joe Jackson and Jared Jelks are supposed to be steals.

Nothing to dislike in the McGregor, Jackson, and Jelks picks. Hill and Pollard have upside and downside. Jerry style picks.

I'm moderately pleased. We had very little ammo. Spent it pretty well. If you don't like gambles like Hill and Pollard, you're a fan of the wrong team. Those are Jerry style picks, and they're never going to stop coming.

Dallas could draft each of the top 10 over all and Garrett still wouldn't be able to mold them into a championship team.
Why not just go away then and root for the Patriots? Spare the rest of us from your crap.

If Amari Cooper continues to play at the level he is playing at, then whatever happens to the other draftees is GRAVY!

D. K. Metcalf is going to be the latest version of the receiver that was drafted number 1 by Chicago (Kevin White) from WV who was going to be the end all to be all. Well, how did that turn out for them. Remember David Boston. Another one of those monster all pec can't miss receivers who did nothing in the pros. What the heck did we need him for anyway. We have our number 1.

Like he said, we could have tanked last season and drafted 1st in every round and it wouldn't matter with this HC and coaching staff we have with the exception of Richard. Doesn't really
matter who we draft, we aren't visiting the SB any year soon!
And I mean the ONLY coach on entire staff!

I think future cap and contracts are a big factor. They know who won’t get another contract after this year or next.
