There is no proof to say that dez can't play anymore.saints signed him last season and they were one pi flag away from the sb.let's see how trainingcamp work out for him.i think he knows his place right now and be quiet

Give him the vet minimum, no signing bonus and a chance to win the 4th or 5 spot. If he can still high point, he could be another red zone threat

If not we cut him and don't hold back a young wr prospect. No cost to us. We at least should see, he was nearly unstoppable at the goalline.

If he’s willing to take the vet minimum and be a situational player, it could be OK.

You guys tell me: it’s opening day, first drive of the game, and the Cowboys are 3rd and goal from the 8 yard line. What player on this team right now would be a better asset than Dez in that situation?

Maybe so, but Dez can still high point the ball with the best of them, and would solve some of the red zone problems.
That's a good point JUMBO! I would like to see him in a workout to see how he is recovering from his achilles.

No thank you we’ve moved on from sideline temper tantrums and besides there’s only room for 1 old washed up vet in roster and #82 has that spot

Would Dez help in the Red Zone? Maybe.

But, we have a solid group of starters and some exciting young pups....we don’t need Dez as “progress stopper.” Fans that think he makes us a better team have to ask themselves WHY he can’t get a contract from the other 31 teams. They knew he was petty much done while Jerry was still showing him the d

I’d cut Witten for Dez.
I’d cut them both for a bag of pretzels at this point. The difference I see is the leadership that 82 can bring that 88 don’t.
IMO those 2 just like #9 don’t belong in a football field without headsets

Their time has past

so, is it a good thing that I don't have IG to see this?

actually, I have always loved Dez, but they were correct to move on from him; I was hoping he would find a landing spot (pre-injury of course) and I was very happy for him; but, not sure where Dez would fit in with the youngest team in the league...we already brought methuselah back at TE and signed Cobb, so that already probably bumped us off of the top of the "youngest" list....good luck to you Dez, I just can't imagine it will be in Dallas as a football player

Having a big mouth works as long as you are the best player on the field. Not so much when you would be the 4th best receiver on it.

Is Romo’s names banned yet? Whenever that happens then that’s when we should ban Dez’s Name.

Jerry.....bring Dez back.
Dez is NOT coming back, he was a cancer on and off the field, the cowboys grew tired of his antics and do you not remember his scorched earth comments after he was cut with regards to players on this team......why anyone would want him back is beyond me!
