Travis Frederick is back on the practice field running plays and in his stance. Last week the staff stated he was at full muscle strength. My gut feeling is if the Cowboys O-line is healthy at the start of the season, this unit will be back at the elite status. I respect what Looney did last season, however Frederick is better at calling out blocking assignments and the zone aspects of blocking. Add Connor McGovern into the mix, and Dallas now has some serious depth for their Superbowl March.

Absolutely great news. Go Dallas!!!

I had London Broil, 2 scrambled eggs, and carrot juice for breakfast.

Interesting to see what they are going to do at OL. They now have a lot of pieces, maybe too many pieces.

Where does the article say "full muscle strength"?

It's not that unusual for GBS sufferers to regain full strength and essentially return to pre-symptom condition. Mark Schlereth is a prime example. Had a great career after missing time with GBS in 1993. Given the medical care these guys receive and the fact you are dealing with a world-class athlete, I'd be shocked if Fred didn't return to his old self.

As Travis has stated he will not truly know where he is until he puts on pads. Glad he seems to be on the right track

This is true, but I would bet he has suited up to see how it feels.
Though "the pads come on" probably means contact.

Same here, I am hopeful that he's back to full strength and it's only a matter of time before that's confirmed. But that day isn't today.

Yeah, all signs look very good to this point, but there's that last strength hurdle to be confirmed, and unfortunately, that can't happen quite yet.

He said the other day, and there is a thread on here, where he said it. It was about something else, but he commented on it. It mason the show with Skip and Shannon. @Redball Express posted it.

He said, it took him about 18 months total to be back to where he felt he was 100%. But everyone is different, and from what he got from talking to him. Fredericks was not as severe as his was. Since they caught it earlier, and medical technology is far better.

We all hope TFred is back at full strength. But we won’t know for sure until probably Sept whether he is back to what he was before. Frankly, our GM or his sidekick son are way better salesmen than they are football executives. Again I hope they’re right but I don’t believe a lot of what they say until I see it.

As I have said before, if he is back to his old self by the first game, he will make a difference on how things work concerning the oline.

For him getting back into "gameshape", that's what the preseason is for. Go get em Travis. We are with you 100%.

Agreed. His return will be huge. Not a knock on Joe Looney as the guy did a really good job, but there's a huge dropoff in talent, pedigree, and performance between the two.

Frederick's return will be huge for this line, and for the offense overall.

I would say the biggest "add" of the offseason over the 2018 Cowboys. By far.
