Forget Dak, he's not the problem

The woes of the Redzone offense were mostly attributed to losing Dez and Witten as targets and decoys. The publication we aren’t able to share here has a couple good articles on subject if you have access.

Some effects was put on OL and Dak as a result of not being able to overcome the loss of them in Redzone. And play calling was limited as a result of these contributing factors.

Well, it's debatable whether he's the best in his class.
Yes, every QB misses open receivers. But some quarterbacks can overcome those misses, and others can't. I would say Goff overcame his misses and Dak didn't, wouldn't you say?
Fans would have lit Jerry World and burned it to the ground if this would have been Dak

Reynolds wide open on the left, but instead Goff throws this........

What is he thinking and/or doing here?

There are more from this game, just horrible misses, bad reads, he even got called for a false start. Goff got exposed late in the year and McVay leaned heavily on the running game to avoid exposing Goff. It's not so much that he overcame his misses, but his team had to overcome them.

I expect Moore will go as Dak goes. No one has survived him yet. Even Garretts job might not survive him.

Much like with Garrett, OC are as good as their QB’s. Linehan was fine with Romo, sucked with Dak. Red Flags for me. But I suppose if you’re All In unconditionally it doesn’t matter. Lol
Onward Thru The Fog!
I didn't say I was all in on Moore, I am just not putting a fork in him before he even goes in the oven.

How in the hell can posters be so dead set against him when they know nothing about him as the OC? Nothing.

Do we all have to declare about the unknown? Is it ok to withhold opinions until there is a shred of evidence? If you're using the Fog as symbolism for the unknown, then yes, I am onward through the fog.

And while on this subject, I have a question for all posters? What the hell happened to giving the benefit of the doubt to people that are a part of your favorite team, instead of the opposite?

Exactly how many teams have won a SB with this stat?
Don't know, I've never seen that stat applied before and don't know the significance of it but I assume it was found and used as ammo in support of Dak.

My “ All In” reference was with Dak.

My theme and doubtful questioning with Moore is connected to our organization. If we had a more successful current history with coaching I might be more hopeful.

Who knows how more successful the prospects of Moore could be with a less dysfunctional organization and more prolific passer.

I am not all in on Dak but accepting of what is going to happen.

We'll probably be like we were with his predecessor, married to a 7 and coveting the 9's. But the nature of a board like this is debate and disagreement so he will serve us well.

Yea, this board would be pretty boring in the glory years of 70’s and 90’s without all of the trolling, complaining and opposing fans hating. But it would have been fun with Tom and Jimmys departure. Lol

I prefer to take the “tolerating “perspective rather than “accepting “ much like with many of the decisions made from ownership.

I’m “All In” on the Cowboys but not all of the moving pieces which are always fair game to call out.

Goff choked in the super bowl. There’s no ifs ands or buts about it.

Still a talented young QB. But it was a horrible performance at the worst possible time.

All illustrations how dysfunctional our organization is. And how talent dependent we are. If we’re looking for strategy to be the difference , we’re in trouble.
2 division titles, 3 playoff appearances in 3 seasons. Yeah, SO dysfunctional.

1 - 2016, vs Green Bay
2 - 2018, vs Seattle
3 - 2018, vs L.A.

3 appearances. Fact.
That’s 3 playoff games in 3 seasons, not 3 playoff appearances in 3 seasons. Context is important.

Sounded like you thought we made the playoffs at 9-7 in 2017.

3 play off game appearances, OK? Each game isn't lumped together.
Regardless, you get my point. The franchise isn't shambles like you keep chirping. Now go poke your Jerry voodoo doll some more.

I didn’t say the franchise was in shambles ? I said we have a dysfunctional organization that is talent dependent.

We were talent dependent in 1995 too with favorable results amongst our dysfunctional organization.

You always want to make it personal. Attempting to discredit the messenger is a desperate resort.

And, yet, when he needed to make a critical drive he did. Whether we like it or not, winning is the final analysis. If Dak cinches a game winning drive against the Rams, we're talking about him being clutch and Goff sucking.
That's just the way it goes.

We didn't win the lambs game because JG failed to implement a proper game plan.
