Dak & Wentz are not on same level

Sorry dude, Dak has already been to one Pro Bowl. And much to your probable dismay Dak will get $30 mil a year and Wentz if he can stay healthy a whole year might get the same. Like Dak or not, he is going to be the Cowboy QB this year and probably several years to come.

Wince will be just fine, it was just a back injury and everybody knows that back injuries aren't a big deal. They always fully heal and never cause problems and it was a total coincidence that it's his second back injury.

I think Wentz had great stats in his second year.

I don't know too much about him really. The only times I see him play is when he is playing the Cowboys and I really don't see a more accurate qb. He misses wide open receivers just like Dak does at times (but I guess Wentz' misses aren't as far off so people think he's more accurate. I was always told a miss is as good as a mile but YMMV.) and even if there's a completion the receiver has to go to the ground or otherwise stop his momentum.

Or was it the season he had a losing record as a starter, and then the team won 3 straight games to make the playoffs and a playoff game without him?

I realize wins and losses are team accomplishments. But can we stop with the MVP BS when it comes to Wentz. His best year, he was playing on an incredibly stacked team that was so good it won a championship without him.

I'd take Dak over Wentz right just off availability. Wentz is a few injuries away from being broke down...dude is injured every year since his Senior year in college (only 1 full NFL season).

Yesterday, i looked up a QB power ranking heading into 2018...Dak was #22...Wentz was #3. Really? Wentz is overrated at this point.

Overall, would be cool to see these two play the whole season and duke it out.

The greatest attribute in the NFL is durability, that's what separated Emmitt from the other backs not named Sanders. Some of the most talented players in history flamed out because they couldn't show up to work.

There's the injury risk factor with every player, including P and PK's, but with Wentz's history, and I will say when he was on he was superior to Dak, I wouldn't go near that for 30M. As far as that durability issue, I feel more comfortable with that with Dak than any QB in the NFL, even with his running.

If PHL is going to pay Wentz 30M, they better have some good money for the backup.

wentz had a better coach, better wr's, and better te's than did dak. despite this, dak has gotten us to the playoffs 2 of 3 years. what would wentz have achieved with linehan as his oc, and the same group of wr's until cooper was brought to the cowboys? foles won the big dance. wentz has been hurt a lot. dak has not. criticism of jerry's moves in the past are justified. criticism of stephen is just dumb. he's the reason the cowboys are improving.
