Don't want to live through the pain of it all again.
I am watching it for comparative purposes. It is interesting how many clear and obvious talent holes were on that team. Pretty awful DL, especially inside, weak LBers, no-name secondary. Pretty much a mess on defense. Offense was probably at the peak efficiency of the Romo/Witten/Bryant era. OL as well.

Yes the offense was performing well, defense lacked a lot. They performed well at times only because they were well rested most of the time. From the ball control offense Dallas had.
But against an elite offense and / or QB they did not do as well. Also I believe that year they did not face a lot of strong QB's or played against back ups.

There were other opportunities to win that game, as Murray's fumble hurt a lot as well. The D could not stop a hobbled Rodgers.

The Murray fumble was the killer. Dallas takes control of the game on that drive without the turnover and can just hang on for the win. The turnover changed everything. We werent winning that game the way it would play out whether Dez catches it or not.

That is what I was getting at. Especially on the DL. If we play our cards right, we should be able to trade a player or two that we cannot keep. At least I hope we are able to.

You like the D line?

I only see them as solid.

Devasting turnover. He was going for 6 without that. Great play by Peppers if I remember right.

You guys talk like it was the end of the game when that play happened. Of course it should have been a catch, but there were over 4 minutes left when GB took over. Even if it was a catch and TD, a crippled Aaron Rodgers would have had no problem getting the Packers into field goal range(which he did anyway), or probably even get a TD. We had plenty of time to stop the Packers and get the ball back. Brad Schramm points that out all the time. People think time was running out when that play happened.
