I don't care what anybody says, it's impressive that Dak Prescott - once he got a capable wide receiver - put up better overall numbers than the greatest quarterback of all time, for ANY period of time.

That a guy in his 3rd year at the pro level could even comes close to a guy that's been in the league for going on 20 years now.

And if you can't give him some measure of credit for that? Check yourself. Because it's not "him", it's "you".

I am a Dak guy but comparing him to Brady is silly. Brady is the best of all time. I don’t think there is any argument against that anymore.

Hmmm, didn't Brady win another SB? I'd say it's the other way around then. I don't care what stats say. Dan Marino has all kinds of stats..... But no rings
You mean the Patriots won another Super Bowl. You totally meant the team, right?

No there isn't. But I think the point to be made is after the team acquired Cooper, Dak's numbers were actually better for that period of time than the best of all time.

That should be a source of encouragement, not anger.

Our fans. They just love to crap on their players.

I'm not crapping on anyone. He's now better than Brady? lol The greatest QB from the greatest dynasty in the history of the sport? That's not far fetched to you?

First, let me say that I do not believe Dak is as good as Tom Brady.

Now that, that is out of the way.

I find it hilarious how there are a ton of posters who are quick to point out that “winning is a team accomplishment” when Dak’s record as a starter is brought up.

However, now that a comparison of Dak’s performance to Brady’s performance is posted, so many are quick to point out how Brady won the Super Bowl And Dak lost in the divisional round.

So which is it. Is winning a team accomplishment or not? (Hint: winning and losing are both team accomplishments). Because this bull crap about losses being used against Dak but wins being discredited because it’s a team sport is ridiculous. Let’s have some consistency.

They left off playoff and Super Bowl wins which is really all that matters.

To be fair, it helps when your defense holds the Rams to 3 points instead of getting trucked for 30.

That said, going the Dak vs Brady route is not a strong argument.

Ok I'm sorry. I see why some people get antsy about Dak. Everyone wants to compare and promote post Amari Cooper Dak. No one wants to talk about pre Amari Cooper Dak. So here's the question, is pre Amari Cooper Dak worth 25 million? Because if this team talent level begins to drop. (For whatever reason) Then the pre Amari Cooper Dak is what we maybe paying for.

The future isn't set in stone for anyone so Dak Prescott could become Dak Sanchez or Dak McNabb.
Every QB needs weapons, period. Not sure why only Dak gets bashed in this regard.

Others have made similar points but is Cooper even a top 10 receiver in the league (in terms of yards and tds)? I'm not a stat guy but I'd imagine in the last 3 years or so he's maybe in the top 20, so it's not like he's been putting up Antonio Brown or Julio Jones type numbers. I'm not sure he's irreplaceable.

Cooper is young and will in all likelihood get extended and there's also Gallup. Personally I think our talent level should go up in the next few years (hopefully draft a stud TE, maybe another receiver in later rounds.

edit: Although I would prefer if Dallas waited until the end of the season to extend Dak I recognize the fact he has done well post Cooper. If Moore can make the offense less predictable/more creative, then I expect Dak to do even better than last year.

2nd edit: Cooper is rated 19th by sporting news:https://www.sportingnews.com/us/nfl...ide-receivers-2019/1jvvb66ptyhzn1nfxvx91mikrw

They aren't comparing him to Brady as he is good as Brady. They are showing numbers that prove Dak isn't garbage like some on here want to say. Is Dak elite.... No not yet but he is a very good QB that will continue to get better.

Player B is a senior citizen QB with literally nothing on offense but a TE (now also gone) and slot receiver, every year its a bunch of fill ins and he still wins Super Bowls. Dak has everything money can buy him and beat an abused and crippled Seattle team before getting Lol'd out of the stadium at versus Rams.
No the difference is player B has one of the greatest coaches of all time that wins double digit games without player B. Player A has a coach that runs a pee wee scheme and lost double digit games without his starting QB.

By the way player A isn't the reason the Rams rushed for almost 300 yards in that playoff game. Blaming Dak for losing that game is beyond stupid.
